This is really cool, even having seen some of your other tases I didn't expect this to be SO much faster than the last rt run that BlaDe made. I looked around a bit on the stardew speedrunning discord and resources page but didn't see a file list so I hope you'll pardon my ignorance if it's there, but is there a public release of your tasing setup at the moment? I'm interested in trying a shorter tas run but I've only ever done tasing for another game and wasn't sure what kind of setup I need. Either way, great work!

This TAS system is using a custom build of the game I made to handle recording/rng syncing/live scripting. Because it’s super engrained in the game code, I don’t have a great way to release without effectively redistributing the game so unfortunately it’s closed source… ping me on discord if you’d like some more details/wanna go about building it yourself

Is it possible to save some time by activating the fishing cutscene earlier, like on the 22nd so you have a shorter walk on the pendant day? Or would that count as meeting Willy and thus mess up the last billboard quest (and/or make step manip later on a pain)?

I think that impacts the billboard quest routing unfortunately, but it's a great idea/I'll need to re-explore that!

I think I mathed it out to 660g across all the quest items by the end, in this case I don’t really need them (18k from caulis, 2k from pizzas, 1k mail to backfill exhaust losses). There’s probably some wiggle to step manip one less gift in the late game so might be a small time save 🤔

He leaves his house the earliest (7:20am on weekdays or rainy days) so there's less waiting needed before gifting him. BlaDe has a video (link in the description) explaining all the strategy behind this run.
