After Effects can apparently be programmed to read data harvested in-game while recording the video to create cues you can use in editing. An example I saw was following the character perfectly for adding effects, or displaying information read-out of the behijds the scenes information. I could see you making a script that utilizes the ding call to create a ñ second cut, which could then be tailures to match the tempo of the music for a buttery smooth edit

oh sure you could, shane% speedruns exist, but the problem is that shane's loved gifts are: 1. beer, which can't have a quality until you get casks, and is a huge money sink besides; 2. hot peppers, which you can't get en masse until summer; and 3. a couple of cooked meals. he does send you these meals in the mail sometimes, but that would take an initial friendship investment and a lot of sleeping. so basically, shane% is good for saving real-world time by sleeping for days on end, and haley% saves in-game time through extensive min-maxing.
