Thanks for dropping this review. I love that ship surface hatch! Sometimes I prefer to survey a surface from above instead of plopping on the ground into the waiting jaw of a creature as soon as I embark. 😂

Great showcase you done there :) That top hatch seems really interesting on planets, you just take the top exit and have a high point view from atop your ship.

I was just looking at this over on Nexus Mods. In his images he show how the docker-thruster can be used as both a docker and landing gear! The "screen doors" act as landing bays; no need to add a landing bay. One of his images shows a very small ship which is basically a cockpit, some engines, a docker-thruster and a screen door. This is very cool.

The airlocks would be amazing for landing on higher level planets for sniping critters to level.

Certainly a mod I will get. I've never understood why Bethesda limited some of the dockers and bays that could not flip. As well as only one bay that had a door and all the rest had ladders. At least now, this mod gives a lot more options to customize how we want to design and make the ship more aesthetically pleasing ❤

Thanks for the video. The author has done a great job with this, but like you mentioned, it's a shame that some of the basic changes aren't vanilla. These kind of half-jobs by Bethesda just lead to stacking more mods into my "Jenga-loading order"😣

@@Multifidi20: I have to agree with you. Some parts (like cockpits) need to face a single direction, but all the other parts could (and should) have been flipped in any direction. I cannot understand why they did not give us more freedom.

The screen door counts as a landing bay, so you can only have one. If you use the one that goes on the bow/side/stern, as you walk towards it, jump up and keep moving forward and you land on an invisible platform in front of the door! No need to reach up to it.

Speaking of smaller ships, I'd love some part sets for building fighters. I think they'd have to be their own class or category though.

Ideally the top hatches will be there so you can have a barbecue on top of your ship. Put out some tables and chairs. Enjoy the planet not the hostile wildlife

This really shouldn't be a mod, this is another mod that BGS should be compensating the mod author and integrating into the game.

This is such a tired and overused argument. You could literally say that about any mod ever created for any Bethesda game.Or any game period. Its pointless just download the mods you want to download and shut up.

My game has a weird glitch where if I put my Docker on before my weapons . I get a message telling me that I have invalid Docker position Docker needs to be on outside edge of ship . But if I install my weapons first no problem .
