@@AllanArizaMusic Totally! Ambient music is special in that it’s all about atmosphere and emotion, not really about genre. So it can take on elements from any genre! Which is basically what we do in ambient/exploration music in games :)

I haven't played Starfield yet, but I feel like your instrumentation here is on point! There's something far-reaching and regal about a single horn echoing into the distance. This makes it feel very exploratory and adventurous in nature - once again, a beautiful piece! Well done!

Thanks Luke! I agree. The horn is like a call to adventure! I think I heard that originally in the Fallout series which is of course the same composer as Starfield, Inon Zur.

Because of job and time restraints, I can only play Starfield on the weekends. People who don't like the game will never understand the child in me who just wants to be on these vast open alien worlds, to look up into alien skies, and to feel that part of the eternal mystery has been answered. Starfield scratches an itch that me, as a weary space dreamer, has had since the NASA launched Space Shuttles into orbit.

Yes I totally agree! That's how I felt when No Man's Sky released. I totally understood peoples frustrations with the lack of content but man, just the feeling of getting into a ship and flying to random planets, landing and getting out to explore was so fun and satisfying for my desire to explore space I played it so much! haha
