I'm at level 136(!!!) and STILL haven't started the Main Mission yet lol!! Too much adventuring, Outpost-building, ship-creating, fighting.... and then the mods came as I hit lvl 123...and now the buggy and hugely expanded outpost building options and crazy new weapons and ammunition options and bounty hunting and so on and so on!! The Shattered Space in a month! Sheesh I don't know WHEN I'm gonna start the Main Mission!! 😂😂😅

@ajalbetjr YES!!! I love your experience so far! I legit feel this game is elite tier. Does it have faults? Sure. But this game scratches so many of my personal games itches lol I'd never played any Bethesda game prior to Starfield when it launched, so I came in with 0 expectations or baggage. Was immediately blown away. I did take a couple months away to try out Fallout 4 (before mods for starfield, fallout 4 had become my new favorite game lol). But once Creations hit- Starfield all the way lol. The settlements of FO4 kept me from going back to Starfield. So honestly, OldBard specifically I credit for providing the 1 thing I felt Starfield truly needed. They why I'm back now lol

I'm still really bummed not being able to finish the ryujin questline. I got sent to a new homestead location and the operative your supposed to talk to wasn't there, so I went back to a previous save and made different choices of words and it sent me to a grandis landing and still no operative...Xbox player so no console commands to finish it..😒 Great game! but needs bug updates.

While I know I can lean into spoilers at times, as a general practice I try to make content more to inspire people to check things out themselves, more than just explaining it in it's entirety. @pcproz3215 oh for sure that's a must! I tried to leave a couple surprises in there, but was hoping the highlight on The Viewport would help some people find The Hunter more quickly/easily, but without outright showing that :)

Also in the nat station below the mast building there is a female custodian wearing an orange leather outfit, talk to her, tell her dhe looks tired, offer to bring her a terrabrew cappuccino, she calls it a terrachino. The reward is 100+ experience & an item or credits. This is repeatable as many times as you want every few days. If she isn't in the nat station she is usually in the small garden area to the right as you exit centurion arsenal. I have gotten everything from a milk, to med pack to 400 credits.

@johnmcbroom yes of course! Iirc that's Donna! I def love helping her. Her fetch line is simple, but I really enjoy the activities like hers that really slow down and personalize the world we be playing in. Imo it makes the game feel so much more lived in and like the characters around you are really "living". If you didn't know and are a fan of mods- there is def a mod that makes her a recruitable companion!

Don't forget that doing the first quest of the Vanguard storyline gives you access to Vanguard particle beam cannons for your ship which are SUPER OP early on.

So let me get this straight. After 25 years and tons of fallout games, etc. What they came up with is a space game where you decide where your loyalties lie. Hmm...where have I heard that before.

I really like this game because of how much it has to offer, it just feels so shallow to me. I prefer the world of fallout it just feels like they took more time to create a world but Bethesda didn’t even invent the world of Fallout did they? So we shouldn’t be surprised that this game is a lonely husk of a ship builder/loading screen simulator

@MattBradyrules I def became addicted to and fell in love with fallout 4. Starfield was my first bethesda experience and because of that- I didn't go in to it with any bethesda baggage. But wen I took a break from starfield and tried out fo4- I fell in love. I don't disagree that the uand crafted nature of the smaller map of fo4 def leaves some to be desired from startfield when compared in that respect. But the reason I prefer starfield over fallout is simple- hope. No matter what you do in fallout- the world never wins. Everything's still always effed. War never changes. Starfield feels like hope. Wonder and Adventure. There is a chance things will work out foe the betterment of everyone. It's a feeling that imo is absolutely void from fallout. I'm more of a hopeful person than a pessimist lol

@madthproductions it's a fun 5 minute quest. Just look for the guy in freestar outfit sitting in terrabrew. The dialog on both ends is pretty Interesting, and kinda a little sad as it's true irl far too often.
