Great breakdown. One other thing to note for PC players. If you make the secondary button for jumping something other than spacebar, it propels you forward more when you boost than the spacebar boost does. I configured mine to one of my side mouse buttons and I use the balanced pack most of the time. It still sends you up in the air more than forward, but the secondary button definitely boosts you forward more than spacebar. I hadn't tried skip at all. Wondering if that will make you go even more forward if you use something other than spacebar.

I tried and it doesn't work. It only duplicate the spacebar button

I feel like you didn't take into account that you can map boosting forward to a separate button on PC. A balanced pack can boost you forward too if you do that. Mine is mapped to X for easy reach.
