This channel is so refreshing. It restores my my faith in KZbin after being bombarded by trend-mongering, clickbait titles such as: "The Complete and Utter Downfall of Bethesda"..."How Bethesda Has Lost Its Way"..."Bethesda Is Dead. Starfield Shattered Space Is the Nail" (and these are just from the last month). Please keep up the good work. There are precious few channels like yours presenting an alternate view to the herd mentality of so many channels these days.

Yep - totally agree, click bait You Tubers are the worst - I block those channels (and any channel with "Woke" in the title) as soon as they pop up - they are like weeds though, stop blocking them and they start coming back!

@@anderporascu5026 Yes that is so true. And what makes it even more frustrating to me is that people have been saying the same thing for years. I joined Bethesda's forums in 2002. At that time the old guard Daggerfall fans despised almost everything about Morrowind. They called it shallow, unambitious, they said it wasn't a "true" RPG, it was made for "console kiddies" (that was a favorite insult back then), that Bethesda had lost their way, the company is dead, they don't know how to make "true" RPGs anymore. I stopped visiting Bethesda's forums for a few months because it was poisoning my love for the game. Later they said the same thing about Oblivion, and later still they said the same thing about Skyrim. They level the same critiques and issue the same dire predictions every time Bethesda releases a game. After a few decades it all begins to seem like a lot of white noise, sound and fury signifying nothing.

Had to erase my old comment, too many gnats got under the hood. Anyhow, never mind the negativo journalists and clickbait articles, I love Starfield as the game I waited for since the 2010s. I also enjoy how it depicts in a way a more realistic vision of the future, not too dystopic and not so utopian that there isn't still conflict much like Mass Effect did. It also shows the many societal circumstances and viewpoints that the Wheel of Time series depicts which is also realistic. And 15 million, thanks Richard for this channel, there are enough shadows in the world, here isn't that.

I always love the Starfield News Update videos. I have been playing starfield since launch and it is my top played game in my game library. I only have a paltry 588 hours in the game, which is not a lot to some, but is astounding to me. I am a casual gamer and use my PC mostly for work (doing supports for 3D models). I just knew before it came out I would love the game. My only regret is not getting the Constellation Edition. Keep up the good work. :)

In my playthrough the ghost of Anasko Va'ruun also remained visible at the spaceport of Va'ruun'kai, after finishing the quest. He didn't react to anything though, and I couldn't kill him. I guess it's a bug. He was there whenever I landed on the planet.

I generally don't say screw anybody for anything. I will say I like starfield. That being said, thank god for the modding community. I personally feel the video game creation industry is losing its way. With technology where it is these days, the games created just seem lackluster. I would love to land on earth kill some death claws with my starshard, and save the commonwealth in my Astra space suit. Fly to Tamriel ride around in my rover, shooting down some dragons. Craft some ebony space suit gear and go kill some va'ruun with my dragon bone axe. I guess the technology just isn't there yet.

Mods improve my game a ton. I think there is a mismatch between what game engines can accomplish and what players expect. Hardware is another limiting factor. Consoles are grossly underpowered for what some of us want so PC is the best option.

100% correct you are. Cyberpunk has mods on PC. I can only imagine what that's like because I'm still on console. With the way some of the games I like are, im on the fence leaning towards pc. Appreciate the content. The gameplay itself is pretty amazing. The story though, in a lot of these amazing games is where I think they seem to fall short.

I’m playing on Xbox series X I’m literally playing Starfield right now and the bounty system is still broken. I cannot interact with the characters that are wanted. My only option is to kill them and then hope that new ones spawn. And I’m not starting a new character for the fifth time because they can’t keep their bugs in check. every time I make progress in the story or the faction missions update issue occurs. I have not made it to Ng+ yet. Why every time BGS put out a bug fix it breaks previously fixed issues.

Using Shade's Stealth Takedowns you can incapacitate a "wanted alive" bounty without an EM weapon. Once they're incapacitated the bounty should complete.

Haven’t played Starfield in a while: has the bug that affected the Crimson Fleet mission board been fixed? Smuggling missions stopped appearing altogether and the pool of steal missions got drastically reduced. Not sure what triggered it, just that it happens after playing for a long time. A pity since it was one of the best ways to game credits. I liked role playing like a pirate, but that bug alongside some others that affected whether the wanted status got removed or not after killing all witnesses in a ship , or some of the crew of the ship spawning outside the ship, made me stop playing a while ago.
