Sarah's moral compass is just as confusing as Andreja's. *WARNING: Some light spoilers ahead* During the first story mission to Neon where you go with Walter, Sarah was super upset at me for letting the guy who stole the artifact go because "he's a thief". Completely ignoring the fact that him stealing it in the first place is the SOLE reason we were able to get the artifact, and that if he hadn't stole it the only way for us to get it would have been stealing it. Not to mention he only stole it after being fired on short notice after 10 years with his company, like no wonder he was pissed but Sarah just ignores all of that and is all "bUt hE sToLe iT". Then later on in the story she's more than happy to steal an artifact from a collector who has no interest in selling it, literally the exact thing she was so upset at me for letting someone go for. Both her and Andreja have a "rules for thee not for me" kind of attitude and it gets pretty annoying really fast.

Andreja says the same thing at that exact scenario. As much as I enjoyed the game, bethesda really dropped the ball with the companions. Every single companion has the exact same views on everything. They all hate pirates, they have same outlook on every major side quest. For example, they marketed the game as be whatever you want, become a pirate if you want. But god forbid if you want to become a pirate with a companion because there is not a single companion in the constellation that will support your piracy playstyle.

My first experience with Andreja as a companion. "What are you doing/!?!!!!" "Attacking the Varuun ships that are attacking us..." "How dare you!!!!!!" They could have easily made it so as you flew closer to a celestial body, you would go through, essentially, an invisible loading screen. Meaning. you get to within say, 2km of a planet, and the game loads you in and out of the cells with no black screen. It could've just looked like you we're still flying (like making a GIF on the spot and using that as the "loading screen"). Instead I'm looking at the menu and black screens every 5 minutes, smdh.

@@dependent-ability8631 I realized pretty early on that the Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector is one of the best non-missile weapons in the game, is available almost at the start of the game, and has no skill or level requirements. You can put six of them on a ship and pretty much wreck anything you encounter shy of the legendary ships. I'm sure enemies will level to the point where I need to do something different, but it's pretty much covered all my offense for quite some time, so I've just been focusing on improving ship defense now.

What I like most about starfield is it hits a nice medium in space game genre. Most space games are rather story/spacetravel itself/or sandbox centralized to a point where another development in the game is neglected. Starfield avoids all that by making the game with just enough features for each person to have their own experience but not subtracting the experience all together. Sure, it's FAR from perfect, but it's a breath of fresh air getting what you paid for instead of having to research lore or put 600+ hours of skill building, OR A PAYWALL! Just saying, this game came perfectly at the right time in a stagnant market full of repetitive money grabbing schemes.

Bethesda are great at making sandboxes. They make a giant game-universe and impose rules that all NPC's and quests follow. Then let the player do whatever in the sandbox.
