Starfield is a game that doesn’t hold your hand…you make your own fun…it’s truly is an open world sandbox where you can practically be anyone…I feel that most people who hate this game also are the same folks who buy COD every year…the majority of people just don’t have the attention span for roleplaying these days unless it has some sort of shooter looter addiction loop…poor bastards. I love Starfield and am so excited for its future.

I love this game so much. Way more than elder scrolls or fallout. Starfield is a universe that I actually want to explore. I love listening to people's conversations and learning about the lore and investigating new planets. It has an overall hopeful tone. Elder scrolls and fallout are so bleak to me that I don't want to be in that world for very long

I love starfield, i havent bought a cod in over a decade. But this game as great as it is, there isnt that many ways to play it nor do choices matter that much. Either you play the story the good way or just ruin every quest line. Theres basically only two different endings for the game and some factions...

Starfield is not a bad game. But there's a good reason why it has 6k concurrent players per day and Skryim still has 20k+ per day. Yes there's an obvious quantity and DLC disparity and few games can hope to compete with Skyrim in that regard. But there are a lot of base problems with Starfields story, flow, reward items, leveling, new game+ decisions, and especially their dialouge and NPC questlines. I'd also argue their crafting system while well designed, left alot to be desired in aesthetics and choices to craft and "look" better. That being said. I did enjoy playing it, but I never had a desire to beat it again after my first playthrough. I even replayed skyrim tbh after it. Its completely okay to love it, but also recognize that the criticisms leveled at it are not intended to crap on the game. Its to make it better and hope the devs see why so many people were unhappy

I'm watching this 50 hours in to my first playthrough, still new but not fresh. I genuinely enjoyed that overwhelmed feeling this game had when first starting. It was reminiscent of RPGs of yore. Not quite as independent as Morrowind but the game still definitely only holds your hand just long enough. If Elder Scrolls III put a bag over your head and kicked you out of the plane, Starfield at least lets the plane land and tells you good luck before disappearing as if Thanos snapped. Despite all of the negativity, I'm absolutely loving the game so far.

I love this game I have well over 300 hours. Every time I play it my friends get offended and talk about how horrible it is. Honestly I've played since launch and have 0 regrets.

Great Game , better than STAR WARS online. 31:15....I always thought that the excessive , liteweight items (cups, pens, etc) , were there, so we can carry multiple items , to rank up our skills. (COMMERCE SKiLL TREE) One thing i like to do is , collect folders, notepads and drop these at different doorway enterances...so i don't get confused or lost in the maze of a place....I just follow the (cookie crumbs) markers, and voila, i am out of a place in no time.

Love this game! In just 4 days i have put in like 28 hrs. And barely touched the main story. Everything from surveying, research, outpost building, faction quest lines, companion quest line, and to a couple of mission board requests for creds. Love this game. The only thing so far that i don't like is ship stuff and space combat and that's just me

Saved for my inevitable return to the world of Starfield! I enjoyed my time with the game at launch, but at around the 30 hour mark I realized it's better if I let it sit for a while. I love to interact with the side content in BGS games, but with Starfield the running from POI to POI on barren planets just took too much time with little to no entertainment. Once we get better ways to travel on planets, whether it be a horizon fly mode to jetpacks or some kind of ground vehicle, I'll be jumping back in.

Wow, I'm glad I'm only at Lv18 when learning about traits. Idk how I missed this in character creation, but I'm going to start a new save now. This guide was very helpful. I'm not sure what traits to pick TBH. I'm actually thinking about taking Spaced because I think the game is to easy & increasing difficulty mostly just gives enemies more HP, making the game more tedious & you waist more ammo so not supper satisfying. I'm definitely taking wanted. Then, either introvert or empathy. Introvert feels fun for single playthrough but NG+ is bad vs Buff/Nerf from dialog feels really satisfying & better for NG+.

I like the bounty hunter because then you can focus early skills to weapons, defense and other needed early skills

A note when it comes to the profits of stealing and selling ships... there is generally between 2000 to 8000 credits on board most ships... add that to the profit selling after registration and you will usually walk away with 4000 to 12000 credits... not bad for a money loop that also affords you the ability to get new ships or parts...

The ending part being a starborn is something i won’t do instead i have a second character and just doing things differently. Also there is a glitch connect to excessive fast travel and carrying too much material by yourself. I found this out building up 3 outpost at the same time i had to reset the console cause it froze during saving lucky i have backup files

Tip #1 or what should be RULE #1 is if your on PC then find an Inventory mod ASAP. The games base line inventory is so bad that games that do there first ALPHA testing have better inventory screens. Dosent matter which 1 u use it cant possable be worse then the games default one. Your welcome.

I played over 100 hours and until this video. I didn't realize that the armor could counteract the environmental hazards. FML. Like I saw that the armor said it and I read it. But I somehow didn't add 2 and 2 together. I figured it was like weapon damage protection types.

I saw in another video that picking up firearms from npc's you killed automatically unloads the remaining ammo in them into your inventory

Great video, I do have a question though. I am attempting to put a gas resource down, but it says it must be placed within a vein. I am attempting to put it right on the resources, around the resources, or anywhere with the outpost. It won't let me and it's pissing me off! Any advice?

Have you tried rotating it or placing another object down to auto alter the terrain and then tray to place the other object

Where is The Key? If it's near Kryx, don't go there unless you're doing the Crimson Fleet questline otherwise you'll be lit up faster than a lightbulb.

Edit: Quest tracker has been patched. I think the game is a fine old thing and there’d be no anger if only Todd would stop selling everything like it’s a timeshare presentation and promoting every game as though it’s the greatest piece of craftsmanship the world has ever seen and being deceptive by omission. If he and Pete would just promote 100% accurately and be very forthcoming about all mechanics (like instancing), then there would be many more people simply enjoying the game for what it is - a huge, fun and charming old fashioned Bethesda game. But Todd is a salesman through and through.

Also, you say equipped-ed several times from personal clone and on. You equip something, then it's just equipped, not equippeded. I spent $70.00 USD on this game and it was NOT worth the hype. I spent 20 hours grinding and was quickly bored with it. As the game is I would not spend more than $30.00 USD on it. Maybe in a few years they will correct all of the issues that should have been corrected before release. It will be a very long time before I buy another Bethesda game. Everyone else does it better

I couldn't disagree more. I definitely think they made it a bit too big, so it definitely does feel unfinished in some areas, but having entered the unity for the first time i can see what they were going for. I think it's a really good game with the potential to become truly great after DLC.
