Yeah, I could see photon torpedoes being effective against an Odyssey refit, but a direct hit from an Asgard beam weapon would slice a Federation starship in half.

I predict that the Odyssey Refit is going to rip your fleet to shreds. Well I wasn't wrong but I did expect it to do a lot more damage, I don't think the AI is very good in BC.

BC 304 thanks to the technologies of the Asgard and the Ancients, which are ahead of Earthlings in terms of development by tens of thousands of years, it really became one of the strongest spaceships.

Yep, those shields are all but impenetrable if powered with a ZPM and then with the Beam weapons they can take out most things in 2 galaxies with 3 or 4 shots

Carter to O'Neill regarding naming the Prometheus: Sir, we can't name it the Enterprise. Sheppard to McKay regarding the naming of the "Orion": And we're NOT naming it the Enterprise, either! I really loved both the Star Trek and Star Wars references in the Stargate shows, SG-1, Atlantis and Universe. Back To The Future was even referenced once in Stargate Atlantis. Edit: How the bloody hell can the hull be at 100% with the amount of breaches and a the port nacelle MISSING? I don't see the logic in that one lol.

Yeah, that's an oversight related to how the Sovereign handles ablative armor. It doesn't register damage until the "ablative armor" is depleted, but the ship visibly takes damage anyway. >_

If they are in the mod, you might want to add the a couple puddle jumpers. The f-302's are basically useless in the fight, but the puddle jumpers should atleast have the armament to be an actual threat. The Odyssey I believe was the one that had them occasionally. These are ancient ships that were appropriated when the SG teams fount atlantis

I believe they are in the mod! The puddle jumpers are ace. Always wanted one. Haha. Imagine being able to fly around invisible in a small space ship. Neat how they fire drones as well.

@@RetroBadgerGaming They were one of the best additions to late SG. The only concern with the mod would be if their drones acted like the Breen energy dampening. Not much fun to one shot things after the first couple times of doing it. Those things were a bit ridiculously OP, but they were a lot of fun.

If you press H or G on the keyboard (I forget which), the cursor becomes a targeting reticle and you can manually aim your phasers and torpedoes. For example you can sweep your phaser and chop off ship components, or hit subsystems. Autofire just targets center mass which can take a lot longer to defeat a ship.

Love the quantum torpedos fire.. just like the movie...!!! Might, in First Contact, they arrived at the battle with the Borg Cube, but the screen wasn't on... I know they have scanners but still flying with the windshield blocked......eeeeh! Exactly, hull integrity at 100%.. yes like 9.5%...! 1/4 of the ship is missing...!!

Odyssey put of a noble fight, probably would have cut them to shreds if the asgard beam wasn't so slow to recharge. Shields on her with that ZPM seemed to be superior, but I guess it'll only hold up to an entire armada for so long

So, you are hitting the SG ships with the equivalent of a ZPM every single time you hit them with a quantum torpedo and they're just like 'yeah, this is fine'. They really buffed up the SG ships, didn't they?

You should have the fleet focus the most dangerous and powerful ship first. getting ride of the weak fighters cause their easy and leaving the heavy hitters fully unmolested is a tactical mistake IMHO

This was a pretty dissapointing battle concidering you "tried" and failed miserably at making it a balanced fight. A little reaserch into star trek canon would have explained easily why they almost never used fighters in the show due to the extreme accuracy of beam weapons easily taking the fighters out. The tau'ri fleet was down a lot before you even started compared to the feds. There was also the fact that while most starfleet vessels were not warships, the first lines os real warships by starfleet were beasts compared to the other empires. In this case the sovereign and especially the defiants were powerful and you put all 3 pluss a support fleet against 4 ships since the 302s were taken out instantly before they could even be a part of the fight. Really hoping the other vids as i continue are more thought out than this one.

stargate humans really make star trek humans look like punks when you think about it. stargate humans have achieved FTL travel, have ships that have firepower in the gigaton range, are the supreme race in the known spaces by 2005 while humans in the trek verse are essentially second rate getting punked by pretty much other major quadrant powers slapping the UFP silly upside the head.

They were handed Asgard technology on a silver platter though, and scavenged most of their tech at first. Without that, while their tech advancement was impressive they wouldn't have gotten so high up the totem pole so quickly. Meanwhile the Federation seems to have developed most of its tech on its own.

I'm watching the one where Humans forced the Romulans to a stalemate before there was a Federation, wrecked the Klingons in two separate wars, nearly genocided the Dominion Founders, and for all practical purposes exterminated the Borg species. SG1 couldn't defeat anything beyond the Goa'uld without free technology from precursors, and the Goa'uld infantry can't tank a P90. Goa'uld ships get obliterated by regular nukes.
