Ha ha ha youre awesome, I know what you mean by travelling in such greatly historically abundant places and countries and not totatally paying attention in the way I do today,. I would love to revisit again now. Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands . . .all the crazy architecture... and an eye for a stiltzy-Ork! You deserve your own. Starfort that is, those Orks are hard to catch... Bravo...and mo points for that Tom Hanks joke. Isacc Kappy even smirked. Best tour guide ever

Fun as always, Jack. Too bad my mind just doesn't seem to have the energy and speed to keep up with like I did before. And I really get dizzy in some spots of the video where you spin everything so fast so I must look away or crash! Hahahaha! Oh well. Still, you are awesome. Never change. Thanks for taking us on journeys we otherwise wouldn't be able to go on. God bless!

@APBinVTA haha yes! It'll be the 8 story romanesque stone building with 14 ton marble pillars in front & 12ft gargoyle statues on top, ground level windows and a flight of steps made from plywood and 2×4's leading up to the front door. & a big plastic sign glued to the street facing side of the building that says 'BAD WIGS FOR CHEAP'

Begorra begorra, a dose of Double U Jay is enough to brighten anyone's day☘........don't ye know!! On a more serious note....don't all groan at once, hear me out, this could prove interesting, but if you wish to skip to the end I won't hold it against you, well I may feel a tad disheartened....your choice, you don't know what your missing until you find out what you missed😜 Now to the first bit of juicy gossip which just happens to tie in with Limerick, in a strange and personal manner......... I saw Don McClean in Limerick, my friend wanted me to go with her to see Status Quo (not a band that really got me tripping the light fantastic, but no-one else would go with her, so I obliged), but Status Quo cancelled at the last minute and we were entertained by Don, who was, I must admit, very entertaining, even to a 16 year old 80s Modette, oh and we then enjoyed a University of Limerick student allnighter......now that was a whole other story🤫🤭 Okay, so that may not have been enough to whet the appetite, but here is a curious bit of interest No.2........ The Dravidian (South Asians) word links back to the Trimmili, who were, perhaps, the Pre-Hellenistic Lycians of Asia Minor. Murugan was the chief deity of the Dravidians. However, this goes further, because there was, apparently, another branch on Crete known as the Dramil or Dramiz. Trimmili can also be Drammili/Dramili/Dramila/Dravidi/Dravida variations. The Greeks and Romans referred to Southern India as Damirica or Limurike/Lymrike, which sounds like Limerick in Ireland and the language spoken there was either Damir or Tamir which became Tamil. According to Pliny the Elder the region concerned, roughly corresponds to Kerala, was known for its peppers (one can only presume that Pliny was partial to a pepper or two, feeling it necessary to tell the future world about the Indian varieties, as to whether they were paprika or bell we shall never know, sadly!) Now for a long read, skip if no interest in Masonic lore........ "One of the most curious relics of the ancient Craft of Freemasonry is the so-called Baal's Bridge square, now in the possession of Union Lodge, No. 13, Limerick. A brief account of it, with a wood cut illustration appeared in the Freemason's Quarterly Review, for August, 1842, contributed by Bro. Furnell. The Baal's Bridge Square was discovered in the excavating of the foundations of Baal’s Bridge, in the City of Limerick, in November, 1830, some 20 years before the new bridge was constructed in 1850. The Square dates to the early sixteenth century, namely 1507 and was probably placed in the foundations, I would suggest, by an Operative Mason. You will note that the Square is identical to the Jewel of a Worshipful Master. Everything points to the fact that the Craft was flourishing in Ireland in the sixteenth century. It is impossible, however, to be dogmatic about the point, whether or not it possessed any esoteric ceremonies. With most of us that will be a matter of faith rather than evidence. Yet if we may trust the testimony of a certain old relic of antiquity, some measure of ethical symbolism was associated on occasion with the implements of masonry, as is shown by what is usually known as the "Baal’s Bridge Square," carefully preserved by Antient Union Lodge No. 13, Limerick, warranted November, 1732, and probably "time immemorial" like others of our ancient Lodges. The position in which the square was found indicates that one of our Masonic customs, still in vogue, was practiced in Ireland over 400 years ago. Bro. Furnell stated the date on the square to be 1517. With this Bro. Berry disagreed, reading it as 1507, and this earlier date has been generally accepted since on his authority, as I did myself in making the drawing for our History. But after a minute examination of the relic with a magnifying glass I am unable to agree with him. In my opinion the third figure is certainly intended for the figure one, as Bro. Furnell took it to be. It is formed in the old style, like our letter J. and the curve at the bottom is what has undoubtedly led to its having been taken for a partly defaced cipher. That the relic is genuine seems to be beyond reasonable doubt. The date of the erection of the old bridge is not known. It is practically certain that there has always been a bridge of some sort to the island since the year 1174 at least, when the city came into English hands. The deposit might have been made during some repairs to the abutments if the bridge itself should be supposed older than the seventeenth century. This model square, for it is obviously nothing more, is the only known instance of the kind in the British Isles, so far as is known. The inscription, too, witnesses to a moral application of mason's working tools in a most definite way. And this is also almost unparalleled, were it not for the inscription on the ancient chest that belonged to the Steinmetzen of Hamberg, in which speculative interpretations of the square, compass, level and gauge are given, or rather alluded to [1], and which is also found on the "Master's Tablet" at Baste in Switzerland.” - Irish Masonic History website If you survived reading all of that then you will be glad to know that we are nearing the end of this comment, with the final and perhaps most interesting tidbit for you perusal. There are numerous star formations (forts) across Ireland, but one in particular stands out, well to my addled brain it does, it may not to anyone else, but here goes.... It can be found at 53º05'44"N 7ª54'55"W, and as can be seen it is now under the surface, just a shadow of its former self, but what is very odd and kind of ties in with my own hypothesis, one to which I arrived after many moons researching these amazing constructions, is that they were for some form of electrical creation, or were involved in some kind of electrical transmission. Why do I say this? Well, right next door, less than a spit and shyte away is the I-LOFAR and located smack bang in the centre of Ireland.......but what is that, I hear you cry? "I-LOFAR is the Irish station in a European-wide network of state-of-the-art radio telescopes, used to observe the Universe at low frequencies (10-240 MHz). With the award of €1.4 million from Science Foundation Ireland, the I-LOFAR consortium have built a cutting-edge astrophysics observing facility in Birr Castle, Co. Offaly, in the midlands of Ireland. This facility connects Ireland to the International LOFAR Telescope, which is one of the most sophisticated and advanced astrophysics research projects in the world." - Iofar website "Curiouser and curiouser", said Alice.......well, I said it, but I 'alf inched ('pinched' in rhyming slang!) it from Lewis Carroll.
