StarFox 64 Gigaleak Discoveries: Sector Z, Hyperspace, & the Defense Satellite Missile Group

Elarix discovered a bunch of stuff that went under the rader during the 2020 Nintendo Gigaleak for StarFox 64. Here's a video covering some of his discoveries.

You can find the SAME MISSILES from sector z on the train in Macbeth! It's easier to see in the 3ds version! I made a tweet about it years ago.

In the released game, both Zoness and Sector Z suggest a "surprise" attack on Venom. If you don't destroy every Zoness searchlight, you're spotted and must opt for the "direct" attack through Macbeth instead. If you can't destroy every missile in Sector Z, your sneak attack is also foiled.

This is so cool! It would have been dope to see thdee separate routes ro venom instesd of just two! Also the additional lines for the sector Z mission explains a lot about why rob was so useless in the stage lol, maybe we can see these get re-implemented when the dcom finishes!

maybe. though those cut lines are in japanese only. someone would have to dub them into english.
