Richard Dean Anderson is one of the people that taught me that theres more to being a leader than shouting orders and being an action hero, its about caring for your team and treating them like family more than subordanents, being the kind person that understands when a situation is wrong ( like he did with marin). he taught me that being a leader is a huge responsability and you have a to sometimes be the one to take responsibility for the actions of your team.

SG1 was a phenomenal show. I have seen no other show that has a cast that had such chemistry.....other than the cast of GRIMM!

The cast of Farscape have the same chemistry as you have both Ben and Claudia being on two iconic shows. Farscape was a truly collaborative show as well as Stargate SG1 and isn't it ironic that in Stargate SG1 for their 200th episode they would reference it with Claudia being Aeryn and Michael Shanks as John Crichton with Ben being Stark.

When the same Writers come back. That is when there will be a comeback. I found out just the other day that some of the Riders are now writing for the TV show Travelers. On Netflix. And that's a dang good show. And once I found out who was writing that show it's suddenly made sense. Unfortunately since Stargate went downhill, all these other writers and actors moved on. It's really quite sad.

No, thank you cast and staff of StarGate. I was living in Japan starving for an English show to watch back in 2006 when I saw my first Stargate episode. The episodes were obtained via an open WiFi signal via a metal mesh colander I used to catch the signal better for my WiFi antenna like a satellite dish that was hung outside my window. LOL. Forever a fan...

This show will forever be a classic, the general nature of it crosses all time barriers and generations. The writers, the stories were great and everyone in the show exceptional! Always loved Jacob and Bra'tec...ALL of the original SG1 crew members. Everything about the show, I love to watch over and over and have all 10 seasons. The only disappointment the show ever delivered was when they killed off, Doctor Fraser...Janet Fraser represented what all doctors should strive to be. 👍❤

I remeber when stargate sg-1 first aired on TV back in the 90's me and my Mom would always watch it together, i am definitely a life long fan i always hoped Universe would continue though it had great potential.

I can honestly say the show has grown on me even more than ever, and I first started watching it around 2000, watched Scorched Earth as my very first episode. I can thank that episode for getting me hooked. I was changing channels at the time to test out my new surround sound stereo receiver from the cable box, and came across SG1 with the amazing surround sound.

Although I've never been a big Stargate fan I have to admit that it deserves its fandom. SG1 by itself lasted longer than any individual Star Trek series. It takes a pretty solid cast and crew to pull that off and it accomplished that with less studio and creator drama. Great work everyone.

The Absolute "Best" (Return to the Stargate) mini-series would have to be a good Animated series with the original writers and Actors voices.. as much as possible. If they only focused on finishing plot lines alone from all ten years.. it would be both satisfying and very fulfilling.. they could even involve the audience by floating "theories" and asking "which plot lines" they wanted followed up the most.. then let the writers pick and choose and go to town. They might even be able to finally finish off SGU by reintegrating it and lightening it up and better explain what the Ancients were up to out there.. perhaps find them.. and in my mind "figure out" they didn't go anywhere.. the Ancients became members of the Audience.. they figured out the Universe was a big "simulation" run by other "beings".. and in that way find a larger Universe in which to tell stories.
