I like how the line sounds different after you watch volume 3 cus he could be saying "i lost the only family i ever had" referring to the guardians hence why he lists them, or he could be saying "i lost the only family i ever had" referring to Lyla and the others before listing the guardians he's also lost as additional people he lost, ORRR he could be saying "i lost the only family i ever had" referring to both groups before listing the guardians so as to specify them and to avoid mentioning or making people suspect the other half of his family that he lost

As if hurting someone would bring them out of a panic attack. I understand it's meant to be a joke, but I hate it when movies and TV shows turn real mental illness problems into something to be laughed at, I think it really sends the wrong message to young people watching who haven't dealt with that stuff and know no better. I still love these movies and characters regardless though. Edit: only point I’m trying to make is that I wish more modern movies would put RESPECTFUL depictions of mental illness in their movies instead of just making a joke out of it. If some people find that dark humor helpful to them, then great! I just think it’s difficult to find media which approaches the topic maturely.
@Random_dud31 Жыл бұрын
@TriggerHappy To play devils advocate, it kinda makes sense why everyone in the MCU was harsh or made fun of Thor. In that universe, EVERYONE lost someone they deeply care about. Its kinda hard to help a person in depression when you are also fighting true it. Everyone in that world has a trama, so it kinda does make sense why its hard for anyone to help him

Rocket tells them "HEY WOULD YOU GUYS SHUT UP? WE ARE TRYING TO ENJOY OUR MEAL, INCONSIDERATE ASSHOLES"! His group looks at him in shock without saying a word and Rocket says "Can you believe these people"?

Watching this makes Rocket's journey as a hero really noble and cool in retrospect, even though he's a professional asshole. I'm 100% convinced that he should be the captain of the Guardians, not Quill nor Thor. He's the most mature and level headed at the end of endgame.
@kennethsatria66073 жыл бұрын
Yeah but does he actually want that though? In all iterations he seems comfortable just being there as the resident genius and tech expert free to do his own thing. I can kinda relate being second in command is usually less pressure and you have the leader as your shield you support from the back if things go bad.
@benl.45773 жыл бұрын
@@kennethsatria6607 That's a great input honestly, and I hadn't thought of that. He may be the most qualified, but if he's not willing, he still wouldn't be an effective leader. I guess Quill still has to prove his competence if he wants to be the captain again.
