Dianа I think that TGWDLM has really shown improvement for StarKid musicals in the music and story quality. TGWDLM was the musical that got me into the StarKid fandom(cult) and I don't regret watching it one bit. It introduced me to so many different musicals.

@@shellkathleen2253 I'd have to disagree with you there. While others such as Twisted compete with it in songs very admirably, they do not hold up in the acting. I get that Twisted and their other musicals have a much less "serious" tone, but I think that TGWDLM really benefitted from being darker. I hope Black Friday continues the trend.

@@jasonutty52 I love it but we'll agree to disagree :) I think there are greater musicals they've made. If we're judging acting only sure TGWDLM would win but globally, I don't think it's the best. There are funnier plays, better written stories, better songs, ect. I guess I choose to look at the whole thing rather than just certain little points to make a full judgement. To each their own :) I still think regardless of which plays are the best, the rest of them are being severely undershowed because TGWDLM is being overtalked about. I love the musical and watched it multiple times cause it's great but when I talk with the fandom it's just overbearing how many people claim it to be the best at EVERYTHING. songs, acting, dancing, music, comedy. I don't agree 🤷🏻‍♀️
