Great step by step video but I was just curious why you wouldn't use a 360 degree corn LED bulb to utilize the aluminum reflector shield to project an even brighter light instead of the 180 degree?

Great presentation but would been better without the background music that is kind of loud and a distraction. Thanks for posting.

How can cardboard be behind the metal halide bulb for years while the halogen sets it on fire in seconds?

Any reason why you left the ballast inside the fixture?

Will the heat dissipation still work with the reflector on? Will is reduce life of bulb?

rofl, that 40w corn light isnt even CLOSE to the light output of that 400w metal halide, congrats you just replaced a 24,000 lumen fixture, into a 4-6k lumen fixture.. clap clap.. That LED would need to be around 200w or so.. what a FING joke
