Does 20,000 of these not create future issues for travel through their orbit? Also did they Purchase that orbital space, or is it currently a free for all up there?

Do planes hit each other mid-air, or are they miles apart? The different shells of satellites are about 50-100 miles in elevation away from each other

Wanna send smth in to space, rent some space up there ?? 😁😁
@47f0 Жыл бұрын
The diameter of the earth is just a tiny bit under 8,000 Miles. If you do a little math, that means 196 million square miles of surface. These satellites are miles apart, and the orbital mesh they form is full of little holes, and by little holes, I mean many square miles. We know where they are, and missing them is not a problem. It's the random space junk from previous launches, satellites destroyed in orbit, and other garbage that poses a greater hazard to launches. Now, do 20000 satellites up there really annoy astronomers when they get streaks of light across their images? Oh, yes, most definitely.

My wife and I were just out stargazing last night here in Oklahoma and seen the star link fleet zooming across the heavens. They were spread out a good even distance. We didn't know what it was at the time. Thought it was an alien invasion or military prepping for nuclear war. I had to call my son to make sure nothing weird was going on we weren’t aware of. He told us it was star link. Super cool!

Could you do a video that explains what happens next as they travel in a string. How to they get to their specific individual locations? Do they just keep spreading apart until some point is reached? They are launched at different inclinations. Currently most are launched at 43 and 53 degrees inclination. In the past 70 and 97 degrees have been launched for more polar coverage. Recently there has been a buttload of Starlink 2 minis launched at 43 degrees, and I bet it is those 22 starlink trains you have seen. They will have 4x the bandwidth of the older sats, so it will give the U.S.A. more bandwidth so they will not be so bogged down compared with less dense areas of the World.

I wanted to know if anyone seen what I seen on May 15, 2022 just before approximately 11:08 pm I happened to look over my shoulder at what I thought was a flock of geese coming over towards me flying over our small town I actually happened to be outside looking the opposite way at the total lunar eclipse that was happening on that night of May 15-16 of 2022 but something drawn me to the geese even more just as the moon as about to go into totality..I couldn't understand what it was that I was seeing flying towards me over above my town still heading my way and getting closer still thinking it's birds because it's straight in a line. But their flying in the opposite direction heading south it's the middle of May vIm turning back and forth looking at the moon and at the birds in the sky trying to figure what I should look at the moon was almost dark that flock was now almost over head when I realized it's not birds one line and it's too straight and it sort of glows it looks like a train in the sky! I started running towards it as it came almost over my house dcnt street I started running down my street trying to take photos of it and the eclipse at the same time then as it started to move away to me it exploded unto the biggest display vof fireworks I've ever seen in my entire life all at once lights shooting every where colorfully sparks and rats if lights for what seemed to be 10 to 15 seconds vi though for sure this is the big one. we've been invaded for sure I started screaming my head off pointing like a fool at the most spectacular scene of fireworks in outer space one on on earth could possibly ever imagine seeing why isn't a tone out gere to witness this except me then i realized that there was a ray of light that was striking several box cars on the front half of the train ? What the heck where is that coming from way up there? When I turn towards the direction of where the beam of light or whatever it that was coming from I realized it was the moons lightbeam of the diamond engagement rings final last beam of light shooting out across space before the darkness vof total totality at 11:11 pm central time! What a sight I just witnessed and I hadn't a clue what it was at all I had just seen not until the next day many calls and people helping me googling to find out if I was seeing something real of I was just crazy because I had seen something even just as bazaar the November before which Involved a neon green beam coming down from outer space that dropped off triangles that I first thought was a fire ball until it was actually a beam of light and it dropped off several triangles and retracted back up into outer space then I freaked while yelling at my adult kids to look at it I came out that night to check out the northern lights until I realized that the green ligh t refections on the ground was coming from the south and that was behind me!
