Hello Ernon I ordered my Starlink for residential in Jamaica. I noticed my package looked like yours and you said you had the roam version. Thank you for the video as I have not found any videos looking like the item you and I have. I ordered October 1,2024 and received it October 11,2024 so setting up now. Thanks for your video

Thanks for this. Mine won’t connect because of obstructions . It’s interesting to see that you had to turn it, even though you didn’t have any obvious obstructions.

Did you setup your account before you got the equipment, or was that part of the setup process that you did not record?

I set up my account before my starlink arrived. That way I could get package updates and also I wanted to get familiar with the app.

@@OGAwsomSauce first initial set up took the longest. Now I just plug in and go wherever I am. Simple and easy. I have the roaming package. I use it for work since I work in various remote locations.

@@viperjj64 it worked very well in Mexico. I was up in the mountains and still good service. Worked well in very hot weather and went through storm and still worked. I got the roaming package so I get service anywhere I travel. I just set up and I have service.

No. You pay every month to starlink

@@t.real_adams6898 starlink is the internet provider. The router provides the wifi for you. The router receives internet services through the starlink dish.

It took us 15 minutes to mount it on the roof. Then set up took us 10 minutes on my phone. Are you being facetious?

@@jongriffin2125 first initial setup took the longest. Now I just plug in and it boot up a lot quicker. It had a few after a few updates and that fixed a lot of the issues. I carry it with me in my work truck since I work in the oilfield in Montana. It works well for me.
