The Dallas Stars played a great series just an extremely strong team. From a Wild fan congratulations on making 2nd round and maybe all the way! Wild couldn't get much offense going consistently enough last 2 games.

I sure expected more from my Minnesota Wild , especially after that game 1 and game 3 , going up 2 games to 1. I think the difference is that our Minnesota boy Oettinger was a beast the whole series. He was the difference. Congrats to the Stars , they were the better team. As a Minnesota sports fan, our favorite saying is, “well, maybe next year”.

It has been absolutely frustrating to be a Minnesota Wild fan. Why can’t they just have a team that can be competitive for the Stanley Cup for at least one year? They have a pretty good core, but have lacked depth the last 2 seasons. They’re always a team who’s good during the regular season, but never good enough in the postseason. It’s going to take another 3 years before they finally have the cap space to build a contender 😭

@@mph650 This isn’t about missing the playoffs, it’s about losing in the playoffs. The Wild are 0-8 in the first round since 2015 and the Maple Leafs are 0-6 since 2004. The Wild have more first round losses in less years than the Maple Leafs do.

Surprised the arena wasn't empty by the time the handshake line was done. Terribly inconsistent effort by the Wild these last 3 games. I'm not going to call it the worst decade in Wild history, cause there were some truly sour campaigns. But it's probably the most disappointing. And their fans deserve more than a team making the playoffs and not getting swept. I can't comment on how much Fleury playing and losing game 2 hurt them, as I don't really care enough about the team to know if they could have won that game regardless (4, 5, & 6 suggest they wouldn't have). This year, the playoffs have done nothing to grab my interest, while the last two weeks of the regular season were actually pretty exciting. At this point, I think I'm going to check out. Hockey is losing me, and it's not just the questionable officiating and bloated, football type scoreboards.
