Want to destroy Radiant with junks? Remember Atlas mk II? Remember their missile racks? Put entire Arthropos Torpedo Rack on them, max your flux and AA. Bonus points if you ram them with Heavy Armor.

I have never used the MIRV's yet but I am a huge fan of mounting Squall MLRS anywhere i have large missile slots because of the pressure they exert on enemies, and Annihilator Pods on medium slots along with some Kneecapper MRM. An unending tide of missiles with a side of EMP just seems to be effective against ANYTHING. It overwhelms PD, shields risk overload even for Radiants and Paragons if they get in too close. Add the right missile skills for officers and hullmods and you have an endless supply of raw punishment. I have a bunch of MIRV's laying around but haven't tested them to see if they fit my battle style.

Awesome! It would help noobs like me out a lot if you showed the ship refit screen when you did these, and hovered the mouse over each weapon so we can see the tooltip, or if you just listed the weapons and hull mods. Maybe you could just list it in the description if that's less editing work for you? Most of us can't tell what weapons you are using based on this footage. I'm pausing the video and squinting at the guns to try and figure out what you're using XD Keep up the good work! We need more StarSector content so this is really appreciated.

my fav combo with the conquest is 2 locust SRM up front, 4 hephaestus assault cannons, 4 heavy assault cannon, 2 salamander MRMs and PDs - im playing quiet aggressively with this and usually works quiet well, most the time~ I let the AI handle the broadsides and purely focus on navigation and fire- spamming the locust at opportunity to overwhelm enemy shields and armour etc same layout also works rly well when replacing the hephaestus with devastator~

Radiants are not that hard to beat technically, they just have broken flux capacity, flux vents, and pretty good armor and hull. 2 conquest with mjollnirs vs one radiant still takes way too long

you can kill 3 radiant with just only 4 - 5 conquest. harbour + gauss in one side and only 2 devas in the other combine with dual salvo hurricane with extended missile package and lv 20 officer

@@LowSettings yes, sometimes they will get distracted by small ship, fight radiant with conquest are easy, the problem is if remnants have many escort ship

This fleet dies to remnants in 0.95, between the remnant fleet/officer buffs, major player skill nerfs, "rebalanced" deployment CP that heavily favors remnants no matter your total CP, and the ridiculous remnant fleet 77% ECM ratings and own ships never even attempting to shoot them even with aggressive officers.

@@ahmataevo on .95 many capital meta has no longer visible, better use smaller ship like fury class cruiser to gang the remnants ship like radiant. on .95 you only use capital to defend the battle objective and not as main killing force on your fleet

Thanks man! Those are 2 devastator cannons and 2 light dual machine guns brother. Nothing fancy with the weapon groups except I changed the missiles to linked instead of alternating.

i spent all my money on a conquest when i saw it in a black market, now i feel forced to play with it, it's really difficult to chase running faster ships, even the astral carrier is near impossible to catch. Capitals got nerfed this patch? most of the stuff i looked at on youtube and that made me want to try starsector seems to have been nerfed just when i got the game XD

dose it just not have shields??? it says omni shields are equipped but when ever i try to activate them nothing happens.

Press right click. Maybe you equiped the shield shunt hull mod my dude. That removes shield

Right now you can mentor them so you can choose 5 instead of the usual three skills per level

Ecm, eccm, expanded missile racks, armored weapon mounts, heavy armor, hardened shields, itu, efficiency overhaul, solar shieldimg. Probably not all of those are necessary except eccm and expanded missiles racks

Yep I think I counted from my first sabot. I was just amazed at the time since I never used missiles before and it usually took me a loooong time to kill those "things"

Is this supposed to be a showcase? Cause you cant really test a ship while other 3 ships are doing 90% of the job. With that deployment any other combination of the 40fp would have done well. Plus that set up is pretty mediocre considering that the conquest is already mediocre on it's own, even after last patch buff.

@@LowSettings aah I see now, they went through the Onslaught, hard to notice. Onslaught still helped a fair lot by tanking and building up maybe half the radiant's hard flux. Still, I prefer judging a ship's worth by how it does when the situation is dire, not when it's 4 capitals vs 1 and a bit of chaff, an unusually compliant and dumb Radiant, and a convenient lack of surrounding PD to take out your missiles
