Great song from 1989. 70's and 80's was the golden era, the best for Rock and Pop music. Mickey Thomas, fine voice on lead vocals, is still looking cool and handsome, not long before he got his face rearranged by Donny Baldwin, the Starship drummer. A savage assault. You should still be ashamed of yourself Donny Baldwin!

MICKEY THOMAS =LEGEND. I GOT TO SEE HIM IN A SMALL VENUE IN LITTLE ROCK, AR IN THE LATE 80'S. I WAS ABOUT 5 FT FROM HIM AND HE DID ALL THE HITS AND MAN HIS VOICE JUST REVERBERATED THROUGH ALL OF US AND IT WAS MAGICAL. HE SOUNDS INSANE IN PERSON. NAILED EVERY SONG, SOUNDED JUST LIKE THE RECORDS. LONG LIVE MICKEY THOMAS.

The Starship song never given any airtime. Better than Sara, We Built This City, etc.

most people have got the wrong idea about this band. if the radio stations played its not enough as often as they play we built this city this band would have greater respect.

We built this city was crap. The band didn't even like it. But sometimes crap music gets airplay. This song is just okay. Watered down formula, not written by the band. Key members are gone here, song has no bite.

Julie Martell It's so dated though and sometimes makes me wanna cringe. Chicks in spandex were awesome though, but when they'd walk out of the Ladies Room the cloud of hairspray behind them could make us cough lol. Still better than the 70s with those loud plaid suits and sideburns. I'd have to do an atomic face palm if I participated in that 😒
