I like how much Beetlejuice has changed, and I know it was more of a comedy, but cmon, the original songs had some pretty good lyrics, Kerry’s song should’ve totally been on there, as well as some of the lyrics in Say My Name, Dead Mom, and as much as I love some of the lines it’s true they were too vulgar but they were pretty funny, whoever wrote the script, they are genius.

Rob McClure was in the touring production of Something Rotten (which he also starred in on Broadway) and I got to see him in Omaha, NE (that's right in the middle of the U.S.- over 1,000 miles from NYC). Most Broadway actors who are as well-established as he is don't go on tour (and they almost never come all the way to Nebraska) but Rob McClure did. He seemed so genuinely happy to be there and he was great in the show. He just has a very sweet and pure disposition and he's a huge nerd. I think the first time I heard of him before I saw him in Something Rotten was on Side by Side by Susan Blackwell and I've just loved him as a performer and human ever since. Also his daughter is real cute.
