You can start with a 50 dollar hedge trimmer & a rake, you could start with a pair of sheers, just make sure all of your profit in the beginning goes back into tools & maintaining the business.

Great information for those interested and want to give it try I just cut some over grown trees with a battery operated chainsaw 10 inch blade less than $200 and it did a fantastic job on the trees beautiful transformation on the yard. The whole yard was done on one charge I didn’t have to stop and charge it up that’s what I like about it.

You always keep it real man. Too many of these guys tell everyone they need all this expensive stuff to start. Unless you have the means then you better start from scratch.

I started with rake about 6 six years ( no joke) - that's all I had - but you are right - if you are determined to do this and work your a$$ off, everything will work out - not going to happen over night either - if you don't have a passion for this, stay at home - guarantee you will stay at home from June to August lol - you have to love this to be able to work your way up

You only need a decent wheelbarrow a fork and rake for mulch. Delivery dumped on tarp. I have a video on that. 120.00 per yard installed. Don't try buying it in bags you will work for free . You can start with a simple leaf rake and a tarp do leaf clean up. This was great video smoke. I do all shrubs per plant. That way you can start with a hand saw pruners and a tarp. You can also start at this time of year with only pulling weeds out of beds. Bare hands. I recommend a tool to loosen the roots though.

Another great video and good timing as I’m planning on starting my lawn mowing service in the spring but I just put an ad up On the “neighborhood” app and also FB marketplace for leaf raking and fall cleanup so I’m hoping to get a few weeks of business with that and I’m also going to advertise for snow blowing and SHOVELING snow as you don’t see shoveling offered very much anymore ( steps, entrance ways, etc. etc. ) as I’m in Central NY state and we get a lot of snow here but customers are customers in the “off” season 👍🏻👍🏻

why park on the wrong side of the street? why not circle the block and park correctly? I noticed yard service crews in my neighborhood that park on wrong side of street and honestly it is illegal (yes you could be given a ticket here by the police) and it is dangerous. You do a great job!
