I just found your channel, and i really enjoyed it. I have been lucky to have traveled a bit in Europe and elsewhere. The world would be a better place if everyone visited other countries. I wish you many happy years in the US. We are lucky to have you. I've been to Vegas many times on business and for fun. Every time i went to Vegas, i took some side adventures into Utah, Arizona, and a bit more of Nevada. It is a beautiful and interesting part of the country. Sending you blessings ~ karen

Hello you two awesome people, I love the Chanel very interesting and good contents, I have a quick question, is there any way I can apply for a work visa without a job offer in US?

I am 19 from the netherlands and its been my dream to live in the us ever since i was a child my additional thought was applying for the green card lottery every year but since the chances of getting accepted are less then 1% i’d like to pick a different route i need a clear path that i can take i need to know what to do doesnt matter what it takes
@PlayWaves16 ай бұрын
There is no clear route. The Netherlands is better anyway.

What if we as a family move over to the USA from uk but wife is still employed in the UK? Is that an option? Because her job is fully remote. Thanks in advance and great video as always! Liked, shared and subbed 👍🏻 look eagerly for a reply, we just want to move. Currently looking at florida, Texas and NH. 👍🏻

Forgot to mention… wife would work for uk company remotely in the USA whilst then looking for work in a state we choose. I will look into business ventures thanks 😊

Both me and my wife work fulltime in uk, have a family here, but would love to move to USA, mainly because the salary is too low in our profession and living cost and house prices are high. We considered canadian PR many times, but job situation in canada is not good. H1B is very hard to get and I guess not many employers will want to do it, so whats the best option for us?
@ANTSEL8 ай бұрын
Hi! From speaking to others, it seems that employers are still sponsoring H1B but I am personally hearing of more L1A sponsorship. If you are in a profession/ company that can transfer you, I would say that is the best route and see if you can come that way. We have this video where we speak to what we would do: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXPTZ3qAmNGInrMsi=RFTupUOgOBWoqLJC

Good morning A & S, so my husband and I are planning to move to the US from EU. How easy do you think it will be to find an apartment?
@markt.4661 Жыл бұрын
Most rental properties require proof of employment (monthly income 3X monthly rent), and they will typically pull a US credit report. I would research online and contact a few prior to your move to see if they will cater to your unique situation.
@ANTSEL Жыл бұрын
Agreed with Mark's comment. There should be no issues if you meet the requirements. If you do not have a US credit it is harder, but you can get credit reports from your home country or (nova credit, if you can use that). Sometimes the rental's will expect a larger deposit or more months rent, paid upfront.

Ant, the states with no income taxes generally have the lowest rated quality of student education. They (in some instances) pay teachers half of what other states pay. So if education is at the top of your list, your advice may not be so good. Also, states with no income tax collect their money through higher property, gasoline and/or retail taxes.
@ANTSEL Жыл бұрын
True, although Florida schooling is supposedly ranked quite highly for a state with no income tax. But yes, if education is important then that is a consideration. Nevada is a bit of an anomaly with taxes, as the property tax is amongst the lowest 10 states.
@Mabsusa111 ай бұрын
Not always true . . In Texas Property Taxes are really high relatively and that feeds into the school district. The schools and campuses are out of this world in the afluent suburbs . . And there are many .

Thanks for the video. I have a question I’m really trying to find an answer too. My wife works full time as an accountant and I’m self employed. If she gets a job will her visa allow me to travel with her? What other visa would I need to work? Many thanks
@ANTSEL4 ай бұрын
Typically she will need to be sponsored by an employer. Depending on the type of visa she is sponsored on, will determine if you can work. They are 2 categories of visa's non immigrant (temp) and permanent ( green card). If she get a green card, then yes you will be be able to work. On the temp working visa's it depends.

How easy was it getting the children into school? Can you do a video on that as well please?
@markt.4661 Жыл бұрын
You need state required student immunizations, student birth certificates, proof of residence within a school district and yearly physical. Regardless of your immigrant status, it is relatively easy to enroll your children. State and local taxes pay teacher salaries, so they just want to make sure you live within the school district. Also, Nevada is one of the lowest rated states for quality of education. They have no state taxes and pay teachers almost half of what some other states pay.
@ANTSEL Жыл бұрын
Thanks Mark for answering! We do not have children, so do not know that process. Definitely consider which state to move to in terms of education for your children. Nevada as Mark stated, does not rate highly.

Hey guys, Im from australia and its my dream to move to usa (specifically NYC). The only concern for me is the safety and the gun violence that exists. What are your thoughts on this issue and should I reconsider the move?
@jeanettemarkley7299 Жыл бұрын
Please reconsider. This is a very backward and violent country. The police are practically hunting people. If I could I would leave in a heartbeat.
@ANTSEL Жыл бұрын
After living here for 2 years, we have not felt unsafe but it will depend on the area you choose to live. The gun crime is always a concern, but on balance for us we prefer to be living here, despite knowing that it is not as safe as the UK. Have you been to NYC and spent time there?
@RebeccaThompson-o7dАй бұрын
I’m an American who has lived in NYC and I would definitely recommend visiting first. It’s nothing like what’s depicted in the movies. I also dreamed of living in NYC but when I moved there I realized it wasn’t for me. It’s a really cool place to visit but it takes a special type of person to live there. It’s a cold, mean, hard city that’s only for the ambitious. I’m the type of person who likes to have a community and enjoy life so I decided to immigrate to Spain. Also NYC is pretty dangerous now. I lived there at its safest point in 2014 and even then I saw some things in the subway I wish I could unsee. :/
