Virat Kohli It’s obviously not his native language... If it bothers you when others make spelling mistakes or other mistakes, then just simply tell him what he did incorrectly, why it’s incorrectly and what is correct. Btw, one learns a language by practicing, thus to say that he shouldn’t comment until he can use said language adequately, is just naive (in that area, obviously not in general). NB: no offense intended.

about Issac Newton - "HE invented something YOU couldn't learn." Damn, Neil knows how to throw shade.
@seanwarren9357
@seanwarren9357 5 жыл бұрын
He sensationalism at it's finest. He's no dummy, and it's well worth the reflected shade. Neil is a mirror, at BEST(Amen). That said my initial comment was this "He also knows how to step on his his own dick. Calculus is nature. Newton invented nothing. He was just high enough on Maslow's pyramid of needs to nothing the environment before any other... Such is the love of ego. I know for one I won't melt to Oblivion before rubbing my first glimpse of on the skin of others, because who knows how they may blink. No regrets, we ride and we die or we are nothing... All a great question, if you ask me." XD Really, though... The best thing about Neil is his depth of work. It affords him a certain separation from the world of desire. Having met many of those, he brings himself closer to the daedelus of Media gods, but I feel he understands the notion of insulation and power. I only hope my only interactions are limited to observation, as the best stars(living) should be interacted with. :P SCIENCE IS FUN, JUSY ASK TOM SELLLECK. Lol, sry but that's an all caps mistake minds will need to ask for clarification upon. XD

The Big Bang was not a "huge explosion". It was much more than that. Before the Big Bang itself, the universe was what physicists call 'a singularity'; in other words, a high-temperature, high-energy state (that no one is entirely sure of). The Big Bang is simply the rapid expansion of spacetime (cosmological inflation) for which there is (apparently) no limitation to the rate in which this occurs (general relativity pertains only to objects embedded in spacetime, not spacetime itself). So, our local galaxy group can appear to travel faster relative to another galaxy group, not because of their relative velocity, but because the space around us is expanding faster than light.

Trying to be funny and he wasnt at all, would have been better if the guy atleast acted interested, but instead he just jokes and adds this persona that was just awkward. ey Neil, look at this: slides.launchloop.com//launchloop.pdf It's a space launch system comparable in efficiency to a space elevator that has gotten little to no publicity and WE COULD DO IT RIGHT NOW. It only requires steel and carbon fiber/fiberglass, no graphene or carbon nanotube shenanigans. It also serves as a massive kinetic battery that could be connected to the power grid to act as efficient power storage IN ADDITION to launching payloads into orbit for dollars per kilogram.

"Requires an acceleration path of 2000 km" would certainly be a limiting factor. Also despite its presentation it reads more like something on Vixra than a scientific paper. Also it would cost an absurd amount of money, way more than anyone is going to even consider spending on space without an established colony to trade with.
@lincolndavis3472
@lincolndavis3472 7 жыл бұрын
2 bn $ to build... Less money than is spent on a typical NASA Launch. This thing is actually cheap af if you look at it relative to our normal space industry. Also, less money than that has been spent in legal fees already for the trump-Russia investigation... so the US government has the money and is willing to spend it on frivolous things. Why not a space launch system that WILL CHANGE THE COURSE OF HUMANKIND. The launch loop can put 1000 tons of cargo into orbit at less than $10/kg. EVERY DAY. current NASA rockets have a going rate of at least $5000/kg. it would allow us to get the colonies places in the first place. We could actually build thing economically in space. asteroid mining would become a thing. the face of our civilization would change overnight for minimal investment and risk. This thing needs publicity.

Defending yourself is understandable, but this was no way for anyone to teach anyone anything... trolls are trolls, if you want to educate someone, calling them a dumbass brings you down as someone who doesn't need to stoop to this level to show that someone is ignorant, they will always do that themselves. As I said, defending yourself or an idea, that's fine. But just reading your comment instantly made me think less of you.(not that that matters at all.)

He said on Twitter recently that it's coming soon! But it could be later. But eventually he'll start posting. He's coming up with post ideas. I have his Instagram followed and post notifacations on when he starts!

Another full episode? Is this like a tactic that a drug dealer might use? ...Offer something great for a short while so that a person or people get used to it... then make it only available through payment(s). I see it coming though. I know of my fiendish nature towards StarTalk.

Calculus has been independently invented many times, and there are 4 completely distinct notations to express the ideas that compose the mathematical field. Pascal has a programming language named after him for being one of the more recent people to do so.

11:13 So if we pull this sheet with equal force the universe would expand uniformly. So that would mean that if there was a property of the universe called elasticity it would be the same everywhere, in every single point, the same?
