Welcome! I'm subscribed and ready to take this journey with you. I've been rocking faux locs since 2/2018. But recently decided on the pattern and size that I wanted as my base like a month ago. I have two strand twists beneath my coils, but I want to go back and comb coil them and then wrap them with the faux locs you just inspired me to get the coils

Yeah I felt self conscious as well. This is my first week with my coils in and I’m starting to like the messy look. But I’m just going to take pictures of my loc Journey. I have maybe 53 locs.. so I can’t wait for my hair to get full and thick. I just want healthy locs. Once their mature I’ll have to come up with a hair regiment. I want to Avoid build up. So I’m going to try to stick to natural oils and water oil. Figures cross. Lol

Yasmin Cornish well, I washed my hair every two weeks even in the beginning! I have eczema and sometimes my scalp is affected by it so I had to wash weekly at times! It’s doable! You just have to be gentle! My first month I washed with a stocking cap so that I didn’t ruin the foundation of my locs. However, when I got them done professionally, they were washed without a cap!
