I'm hoping that re-releasing the first 9 will attract new viewers to the series, and will give people a convenient way to re-watch the entire series when the next one releases. So true, this is one of those misunderstanding moments that make me so angry since they could've been avoided when you just give the other person a chance to explain himself before acting. But Squirtle was so often betrayed by Charmander that he already made up his mind about his motivations when he saw his continuing bloodlust, thinking that he will never change. Seeing now the 10th episode makes me even sadder since Squirtle never got to know Charmander true intentions...

The Caterpie Army never gets enraged, and they all live a happy life.

so, looking back, i can see why is squirtle going to confront "the pokemon gods", it's because all of this tragedy was caused by the battle in turns thing, pablo wouldn't be killed if he had a chance to defend himself, then, caterpie wouldn't be consumed by anger and thirst for vengeance, wich later on became the cause of his downfall and the extinction of his entire colony, and most importantly, if squirtle didn't followed the rules....charmander would still be alive and all of these tragedies would be avoided, so, he's gonna confront "the pokemon gods" so he can end the rule that caused all this destruction, i wouldn't say charmander was on the right either because his rebelion was way to agressive and he only learned how to it properly after episode 5

To think this all started because Red didn’t choose charmander. Squirtle would not have gone out to train and slain an innocent caterpie ultimately resulting in a war. Charmander’s strong personality would have eventually made him Reds legendary Charizard. Charmander would not have killed red in an act of aggression to retrieve his teammates. It all would have been perfectly normal, but noooo, Red decided he wanted a flotation device and a slight advantage against the first and only gym squirtle would be useful in.
