I can see the armature rising when you turn the motor. I believe its the bushing. just the same you have to check the brushes wheb changibg the bushings

8788luigi yeah that motor was toast. As you know I replaced it. This video was me complaining and asking for help on the dohc forum. Maybe fixable yes, but everything is replaceable

Bushing in your starter i worn. out of alignment that is why it has no torque.

Most likely. Had this problem in a VW. Soon as you put a new starter bushing in, starts no problem. Old bushing can be seen worn oval.

So you mean it wasn't the starter clutch at all and that it was actually the engine itself that was seized?

did the motorcycle motor seized or starter motor nor working properly? I think I'm having the same issue with my 82 CB900.

@@CanoERP take marvel mystery oil and put in the spark plug holes every now and then rock you bike back and forth that should break it lose

Dude it so obvious that the starter motor is very weak all's you have to do is listen to the motor die down with nothing hooked up...check you bat voltage at starter

Look through my other videos you’ll see I shot a starter replacement video. That starter was bad.
