Also, since the motors run on power, and since P=i x V, I prefer 2S since it basically cuts the current in half for a given flight style. This eases the load on the FETs. Notice that they rate FETs by current, and not by voltage or power. I have tested this a lot with a couple of 75mm units with X12. At 1S it will show, say, 8 amps. At 2S it will show 4 amps. Yes, the 2S is heavier, but the gain in flight time is more than worth the increased weight.

@@segler999 2s is magic for sure but the weight is a big problem when crashing hard all the time or trying to fly in super technical spots, I’ve worked super hard over the last year or so to find the best 75mm setup

@@CiottiFPV Yes, for the way you fly (indoors and chasing R/C cars), I can see why crash durability is a big deal. I started flying R/C back in the 27 mHz then 72 mHz days, when crashing was a disaster. So, we old-timer R/C types tend to avoid crashing. As a result I fly ONLY outdoors and in open spaces. Yes, I will fly around and under trees and work on various freestyle moves (pretty high up for those LOL). I don't need lightning fast response in the motors. Gentle stuff is just fine. My 75 whoops are both 1S and 2S, and I prefer 2S for longer flight times. The Mobula8 and associated Bassline are really nice flyers. I also have built a 2.5" and 3" toothpick, both 2S, and they also are lovely flyers. I also built a 1.6" Drashark 1S from parts. It's ok, but the bigger ones are better. All these were built with the HGLRC Specter aio, which has 10A FETs and runs 1S or 2S.

You like the X12 and 2G4 aio fc boards. I do, too, when I can get them. However, I also have had great success with the HGLRC Specter, which is pretty much the equivalent of the X12. I have 7 of them, mostly for 2S on 75mm builds up to a 3" toothpick build. Motor plugs. Edge soldering for power and camera. They work great.

@CiottiFPV you need to turn off the audio on your analog module to fix the mic issue. Had the same problem.
