I will never understand people who keep cars just to keep em and the cars just stay rotting in the yard .Why do they do this? Same thing in every country .In poland its very comon for old people to do this to cars .And when you try to contact them to try to buy the car they simply dont want to sell them ,even when the car is rotting and has not been driven in ages .And when old person dies the car goes to scrapyard becouse the family does not want to do anything with the car ,simply amazing.I have seen so many good cars go to waste becouse there was no way of recovering them .I think i will just have to start stealing the cars and hiding them in barn ,theres no other way haha

Its brobeably because they are too attached to the car emotionally and dont want to get rid of it even it is in a undriveable state.

I'm not surprised it started. Those 903cc engines are just about indestructible. The noise of it turning over immediately took me back to my youth. 1986 Fiat panda 45CL and Yugo 45. 😊

У меня в юности был Uno с этим мотором) Шикарный нижневальник с короткой цепью, без всяких натяжителей и успокоителей, простой как дверь без ручки. Ехал кстати гораздо бодрее своего объёма, примерно как большинство карбюраторных 1,3. На полонезе двигатель похожей конструкции, только 1500 и ремень на распредвал вместо цепи

Аааааа!!! 😂 У меня такой был в середине 90-х. Я тогда в Польше жил, в Слубице. С подругой выехали в Берлин, отдохнуть, на пару дней . Жили у немца, частным образом, по объявлению сняли комнату. А у него возле двора стоит такой Фиат, зелёный, бумажка изнутри, продаю, 150 марок. Я полез, посмотрел, попробовал, сам инженер - механик, как ни как. Да нормальный аппарат. 😊 . В тот же день временные номера получили, документы, дал ему 150 марок и бутылку водки. Так он мне ещё полный багажник запчастей дал и комплект зимней резины в нагрузку. Такой, классный дядька. Я на этом Фиате полгода в Польше рассекал, а потом ещё продал за 300 марок. И ни разу эта черепаха не сломалась. А вам, мужики, уважение. )))

Those old Fiats were very reliable because there was almost nothing that could break, and if they did break, they cost pennies to fix. This includes 127, Uno, Punto mk1. Then it went to crap. It's like by the year 2000 Fiat have unlearned how to make basic reliable cars.

The car seem a mixture between a 1st and a 2nd series, the dash is the one in the second series, the bodywork resembles the first, although front and rear lights were taken from the newer model

Wow that brings back memories of helping changing out the engine in a works Fiorino 127 van in the 1990s. I remember that engine sound well. I still have the front grille of the donor car.

Greetings from Spain... once again I have had a pleasant time watching how you drive this FIAT 127, here in Spain it was manufactured under license with the SEAT brand also called 127... you have shown that the car has robust mechanics because Despite its condition, it still works without many complications...I would like you to wash them before driving it because this way the vehicle will look longer in a more presentable state...The unit that shows, in my opinion, after a lot of work I think it can be recovered and left in a more optimal state.

Flexiny ...# cut the rusty parts ...you do rally car , put new engine oil , with second hand turbo , new clutch plate ...! Volvo muffler it will sound great ...! 1980's this car used for rally .

In North America we never had cars like this, so forgive me if this sounds insulting or ignorant but this car looks like it was made out of leftover mk1 Golf parts. The resemblance from the windshield to the back lid is amazing.

Like old Italian cars Fiat's were quite prone to rust, rubbish electrics but mechanically absoloutely bulletproof. I've been in a 127 and Panda with the same engine and thought it sounded like a Renault 5.
