My obvious pick would be Artoria, giving the upgrade to her Charisma and/or maybe a 2nd NP upgrade like Vlad adding a secondary effect to it. This also apply to the other Artoria who still have the normal basic Charisma or unupgraded NP

I really like how Mordred implements hit-based buffs compared to some other Servants. In particular, for her crits, she has 3 hits that are especially strong, but still has a smaller 3 turn buff after that. It's a great way of giving the Servant both burst and consistent damage, imo. Really good for uptime too. She might be the best buster crit Saber now because of how those skills work and how stackable they are.

She is my first NP5 five star. Didn't even try for it, she came home on her own through random spooks over the years. Always gonna love this little spitfire.

The comp you gave for Rising Mud Rain should also work with Artoria and Lartoria, albeit with some wasted charge because of their higher overcharge and the latter's higher battery. Lartoria can even do it without any Mana Loading and with only one rank of overcharge from CEs. Rising Mud Rain also isn't necessary for the comp; any CE with 2 stages of overcharge (or one rank for Lartoria) can make it work, although Rising Mud Rain is by far the strongest option. You can even pull it off with a 6 CE farming comp on the 90+ node in Lilim Harlot if you have NP2 Mordred and MLB Great Mother from Tiamat's banner.

Mordred is my favorite servant, and she always has been ever since I saw apocrypha, before this buff came out I made it my mission to get her as powerful as possible so that it didn’t that she wasn’t buffed, now on NA I’m sitting with an NP 4 mordred(gonna be np 5 when the free SSR ticket comes out) and almost at lvl120. She will be infinitely more powerful than artoria with this new buff and I couldn’t be happier.

The nice thing about that 20% aftercharge on the NP is that you don't even need Oby. On turn 3 you get the 20, then a 30 from the charge, so all you need is another 50. So that's nice for those who don't have him. All that said as a NP5 110 (eventually 120) Mo haver I'm super happy about the recent buffs. She's essentially my main servant and this all is working out nice for her. Curious if they're gonna buff that last skill and what they'd do with it. I imagine turn the defense into 3 turns and/or add guts for her battle continuation skill in fate-lore.

I think it would be awesome if they added a small 1 time 3 turn guts on the third skill that when procked would turn all of her cards into Buster for that one turn like her dad.

You DO need Oberon. Because in that comp you still need 20% more charge on turn 2, and that's Oberon s1 for that) A normal 50% charger will fail in this comp

i got an np3 mo-san and she's my go-to saber for almost everything, so i'm really happy. if there's an aoe cq with lancers, i bring her cuz she's so sturdy with her 3rd skill. i want this on na already lol i want mo to be even stronger! 😊

17:30 don't forget Oberon's 50% charge demerit. It drain 20% NP charge from Mordred after the refound, wich means it won't gey charge 100% on turn 3. In order to make it work it's very important to remind to use Oberon's big charge on turn 3 and use the second Koyanskaya on turn 2.

All Mordred ever needed was her animation update and her Trifas costume. Everything else is just cherries.

What a large portion of the FGO fanbase didn't understand until now is that the thing that has always set Mordred apart from her contemporaries is her CONSISTENCY. She consistently has an easier time filling her NP gauge and landing buster crits, plus her third skill both makes sure debuffs don't get in the way of that and allows her to survive an enemy burst turn. She may not have hit as hard as other AOE sabers could, but you always have a good idea of how Mordred is going to perform when you bring her to a fight. The biggest flaws she's ever had are her weak NP at low levels and lack of a guts/evade skill, which is why the former was buffed and most people assumed she'd get a guts skill at some point (even though NP1's damage still isn't amazing). She's never been a GREAT unit, but she's almost always been a GOOD unit because her gameplay and the buffs she got focused on making her performance more consistent. Now--the moment Mordred has finally received a buff that was focused more on making her a STRONGER unit--she has an easy time spamming her NP if you want to focus on making it do large amounts of damage/using as much as possible, can consistently hit buster crits that are even more powerful than before (crit damage, 3 turn buster buff, and 20% attack, very c00l), and her third skill/NP overcharge has been indirectly buffed through the introduction of the Append Skill system and the Koyanskaya system...just existing...and she's suddenly been transformed from a "consistently good unit" to a "consistently GREAT" unit. Just goes to show that not everything you shove into the same category of some random tierlist is made equal.

I doubt I'll be rolling for her, as a general rule I just don't roll for permanents unless they have something else I want on banner. But I do love Mo, and I'm glad she's so great

I always liked her more, but unfortunately it seems like Artoria had a thing for me, so I have her at NP5. I do at least have a Mordred, and may role on this banner to try and get another.

@@Raiden_Solid Mordred. Thanks to her new buffs she has higher wave 2 and wave 3 damage (due to 3-turn buster buff + stacking in double koyan). And that's not even mentioning Arthur niche (although that's pretty rare but og Saber doesn't have any).

@@lucasduran5400 701223 vs 679884, that's a pretty hefty ~22k difference. It wouldn't be that bad in isolation but, as I've already said, wave 2 is a huge diff (315k vs 197k), Arthur niche is insane diff (>x2) AND Mordred has more CQ utility due to debuff cleanse and def up and can also crit harder. So now Mordred beats OG Artoria at everything (except she doesn't have 18% party-wide attack) which is not cool.

I disagree with the setup he showed, since 1koyanskaya 1oberon and the other koyanskaya on the back of the party gives low turn 1 damage. You can just put 2 koyanskaya infront and Oberon behind, will give more turn 1 damage and still having the same effect of being able to loop with rising mud.

Am I wrong but wouldn't this work for Artoria OG as well? As a matter of fact her np gain would be 35% (not that the +5% matters a great deal) at overcharge +2 so I don't see how Mordred's NP would out damage her dad's NP at the same level, short of her niche. So if I'm fighting anyone else other than an Artoria face, her pop's would be preferred (as far as the NPs are concerned) If it's in her niche, absolutely bring the Treacherous Knight where her severe daddy issues will greatly benefit.

It’s due to how the different buff types multiply, since Artoria has NP damage in her kit while Mordred doesn’t. So with the big chunk of NP damage from Mudrain + Oberon’s 1st skill, multiplying with Mordred’s extra Buster up makes more of a difference than Artoria adding a little more NP damage, even with Oberon doubling it’s potency on turn 3. Artoria does more damage on turn one, but less on 2 and 3.

@@NoxarBoi actually, Artoria is still better in turn 3, coz her innate NP also double up from Oberon and she has buster up as well, and Mordred just stuck on her buster up and that's it. Mo only wins on turn 2, because you can only use Dragon core on turn 1 and 3 in that comp with mud.

her damage really jumped up quite a lot with this buff , really remind of Altera last year . Both were in a somewhat terrible spot but were made really good farmer with simple but effective buff
