... starting issues with the EVO IX

swapped out the old ignition switch with new ... ordered the new part the day after purchase since it seems like the evo would only allow Dan the previous owner to start her...

Yea when i try to start my evo 8 there was no crank and nothing. I pushed the clutch in and had it on netural. Im think it might be this or the battery becase last night it started perfectly

@@mikunakano8628 check your battery first.. and try giving it a jump... does it click or crank when you turn the key

@@mikunakano8628 make sure the battery posts arent corroded and you have a good contact.. if you have a vmeter, check to make sure you have at least over 11.5v to start the car... do you hear any noise when you turn the key? any clicks?

Hi bro, is your evo 9 the MR version? Because I just bought an evo 9 with sunroof from japan and it says MR on it.

mine is an SSL here in the US that comes with the sunroof... but i believe it was an available option for MRs in japan...
