Man I have been looking forward to these, I only recently started reading Arc 6 as well, and I cannot state just how kino and peak the series has become. I loved Arc 5 and that was peak for me as well, but Arc 6 has blown everything out of the water, especially the later phases. I still haven't finished yet, I have about 10 chapters to go, but it has been a thrill ride and Tappei seriously is the GOAT author.

Awesome analysis as always! A interesting thing to note though, is that there is a alternative timeline in which Subaru chose a different path in Arc 6 called "Tsugihagu" which I would highly recommend reading after Arc 6 as it's simply a masterpiece.

Arc 1 to 3 were simpl and easy to adapt Arc 4 was filled with details and they had to cut some stuff to make it less confusing Arc 5 is action heavy and thus will be the easiest to adapt Arc 6 however is gonna be the hardest to adapt because of how much it focuses on the psychological state and thought process of subaru and the others I mean, how can you exactly adapt subaru's having meili in his head, being literally him and effecting his thought process, while he also doubts his past self and making a distinction between past subaru and current amnesia subaru while also referring to both as subaru

@Temperance Again, arc 6 (and even other arcs to a lesser extent) was complained about the same way arc 7 is being complained about now when individual chapters were being released. Then, those same people completely changed their positions. People need to wait until the arc is done, everything is put into perspective, and complete, proper translations are made.

@@iiitrifle9895 The big reason why arc 6 is so loved right now is because majority of the active fans are people which started reading the WN after season 2, which means that arc 6 is their first time experiencing the true re zero experience. When in reality this is exactly how reading arc 3 and 4 felt like, it’s just that they don’t know because they watched the anime. All in all arc 3, 4 and 6 are the best arcs and which you find the best comes down to preference.

Peak Re:Zero??? I really do not get what you see in this plot that I cannot.. The amnesia-plot is just like a filler that hinders the progression of the second trial. And it was really painful to read through (not as bad as the Liliana part in Arc 5 but in exchange it was far longer) It just takes far too long just to get Subaru on course again, as we read the worst version of him doing Arc 1 to Arc 3 all over again. (Yes, even worse than his fight with Julius) We even have the best moments of those Arcs remade in a worse version: He wanting to know Emilias name in Arc 1 and now she is asking him for his one while doing a half ass version of Rems speech from Arc 3. Also the Arc 2 realisation that he has to/want to trust them while he distrusts Emila and Beatrice just because he has not seen them dead in the last loop. The most painful thing is waiting for him to get the basics together which is just a repetition for us readers. I also find it dumb that he forgets his first death so that the author can repeat it --> The whole second try is a waste of time! The whole distrust thing where he runs to Reid and only trust Patrache is also stupid. And that it takes so much time for the others to believe in his amnesia also drags the story. I get that it would be unrealistic that everyone believes him on the get go, but doing it every loop with almost every character is just not fun to read through. I am currently on chapter 60 so I think it is getting better now but I really disliked the whole amnesia-plot so far. If the ending is not some really good mind-blown shit then this Arc is really overhyped. And I get that it is in some way a Gluttony thing so Tappei has to use it better than just fill the holes of his filler-part up. I want to mention that I also disliked the cave plot at first but actually liked it after "the cave-scene" and how it ended. Up to the first trial was also a little bit too long but I liked this part the most overall. I would say Arc 6 is better than Arc 2 and 1 but not better then the rest at the current time but I really hope that something good comes up in the last two phases...
