Programmed robots, they can't compute that you're the only one in the store and they have told delivery pickups to go to that side so often it's the first thing they think of. I also love it when you go into McD's and they totally ignore you and talk amongst themselves about nothing important (you can hear them) when they can clearly see you waiting for service.

Grab some velcro strips, double sided sticky them down the middle of the smaller bag, you can then keep a few velcro strips in there to join across to stop the items from sliding around

Hi, you should definitely put some cup holders in your delivery box - can get them for free in any supermarket ( usually the plastic ones holding yoghurt pots on the shelves or something). will make it easier for stuff not to spill. you can put the drinks in the plastic holder and then put another holder upside down on the drinks - this way it never spills and is always secure. this is what i do & stuff never spills!

I deliver by ebike and use the QuadLock wireless charger. Really pleased with it, wire it directly into 12v. Supposed to be for motorbikes and fully waterproof. You could make a wood based mold for cups to fit in to hold them so you don't have to worry. Though I would never order from there possibly anywhere else that has breakfasts. More like groceries and such :) I am surprised you don't get a lot of that. Where I work we have these machines and as for missing items they do get notified when we mark something as missing/sold out but the driver still arrives and takes it before they can check/approve it, doesn't stop the process while they're being 'informed' so to say. Usually I just tell the driver to let them know and whatever, some apps don't let us replace stuff unless the customer has it specified but most don't tbh, uber is a lot better than just eat in terms of replacing items.

@@Wakajce not everyone works regular hours 9-5. I used to work night shifts 7pm-7am and would often stop off in McDonalds for a decaf coffee and egg mcmuffin on my way home to bed. On a Saturday morning a lot of people would be hungover from the night before and in need of a quick breakfast fix too.

I also work irregular hours and after a night shift obviously the last thing I'd want to do is stand at the stove so either microwave something that I've pre-prepared or just have a bowl of cereal, or grab something from the shop on the way home or something. Dunno, I just really can't fathom ordering breakfast from a delivery service

Weird, Deliveroo always tells me if an item isn't available before it even gets picked up. Perhaps that's only if you're paying attention & watching the website/app. The email about the refund usually comes after the delivery.
