Another way to get preferred foods presented to trout. deeper oxygenated water is the trick. perhaps trolling maybe the summer trout fix. This other consideration for all freshwater everywhere. Reason for the clean water act (& its still too late) www.wildlife.state.nh.us/fishing/consume-fresh.html (could make a pond on the land & stock yourself. 1lb of feed = 1lb of catfish) bol, keep well

in the summer heat try using a fly rod or you can use mealworms or yellow power bait both work for trout.

@davidswezene11024 жыл бұрын
Indeed, trout do like it cold and low light conditions are often favorable. A fly rod or a spin casting rig with float could prove fruitful for topwater trout. Finally, favorite bait for most fishing conditions, ...Corn kernals. Cheap to buy, easy to find and almost always productive. LOL this is equally productive on fly rod or spinning gear, casting and trolling too.

So nice to see you guys out enjoying the areas assets. I loved that first spot you went to to fish. I used to go there at lunch time to cast some flies. I used to work on Main Street in Franconia. That pond was also a great place to ice skate during the snow droughts of 1978 and 1979 when skiing was not possible because many of the mountains didn't have snow making yet. I was nice to see you do take days off to just enjoy yourselves. Beautiful and peaceful spot to fish, you got to ask around and find a good fishing spot. We fished a lot when we lived in the Northwest Territories and it was big fish 22 lbs, did it for 10 years till we moved back home to the city. The boat, motor, trailer, two pickups and lots of gear for cold water fishing, some of our best memories except for the mosquitos , they loved my hubby and left me alone. Enjoyed the video.

My husband has heart failure and he lives in England but I work in Dublin Ireland during the summer hosting International students and had just got back when lockdown happened so I've been shielding to reduce the risk to him( although at 65 I'm probably in higher risk category myself) picking the time to travel is tricky but I desperately want to get back. With the warm weather you all have had lately the trout are probably hanging out in deeper water. It’s fun just catching fish though. Just an FYI. Oliva’s pole is set up for a right handed person. Since she is left handed switch the reel handle to the other side that way she is holding her rod with her dominant hand. The handle will unscrew and you can move it to the other side. But if she’s comfortable with how it set up now then just leave it. I’m a lefty that how I set mine up. Looked like a fun day of fishing. Made some great memories there. Thanks for sharing.
