Love seeing you two work together so well. My late husband thought I could help him do whatever he was doing, and I loved our time spent together, 50 years.

Hey Crockers, been thinking of you with all the wildfires in California. They could start up anywhere. You might want to get several of those sprinkles that go 360* and you could have them connected to your pond. Just in case.

a dry place to keep all the feed is a great idea, great way to knock some things out during this cold weather!
@docanaheim55Күн бұрын
I think you ought to install rolling barn door on the side where you have access to your feed storqge area and small animal storage pin. This will keep the wandering animals in a free safety area. Keeps them out of the extra stored feeds along with the questionable weather exposure.

Suggestion for feed containers, use old non-working chest freezers. I found mine on marketplace by placing an ad for non-working chest freezers. They're insulated. Keeps grain dry. No mice get into them. I was on a large-scale horse farm, so we were bringing in a ton of grain monthly. We'd dump all the grain in them, but if you're on a smaller scale, you can stack the grain in the freezers without unbagging them. Or use trash cans with lids, usually keeps mice out too.

@debbymullies83812 күн бұрын
Awe was going to say inside that barn would be a perfect place to put dry pour in where you want it. That will make it easy to clean up with a leaf blower. I think that dry pour works great for a lot of places - I want to dry pour a sidewalk when the weather gets warm. Utilize those walls and add 2x4s so you can hang a lot of your tools and you might find if you think about it you may not even need another outbuilding to hold things.
