what you need to start/forever - eye wear/facemask - $200 Lancer Tactical M4 (its common and best for any player) - battery + charger for gun - extra mags or one huge mag - vest to hold mags - bbs (.20 gram!!!!)

Use .25+ gram bbs whenever possible. They are more accurate, offer better air resistance so they have better energy retention and can travel longer, have better wind resistance so they will not deviate as much from strong wind. There's just no reason to use .20 bbs unless it's regulated in rules.

In germany some fields need you to have a sidearm on 1.5 Joule days because you are only allowed to use your guns at certain distances. For example (making some numbers up) a sniper has to be used over 30 meters, a DMR over 20 meters and so on. So if you want to go into close combat you need a pistol, because they are the only ones allowed under 5 meters. Edit: at my first day I hit more shots with the P08 Luger GBBR than I did with the M14 SEAG or the G3 GBBR combined, that was a lot of fun :D

Some fields have a minimum engagement distance for rifles and no BangBang rule, meaning in such cases: You need to have a secondary. - Check your local diving suplier. If you can get this, use these.

Very nice guide, however some stuff is subjective. As a small little guy and the fact that my field has a cqb and out door parts, i have a aeg and pistol setup. JW3 mpx with imported chinese TTI conversion kit and a JW3 combat master from EMG 1K$ setup. I have actually found good use of my pistol. On cqb its good for run and gun speedsoft style and outdoors, its the same as i can simply lay down the rifle and run across the field and surprise ppl. Overall if you got income and it fits your style, go for a pistol. However if you do play outdoors more, an aeg, goggles, mask, and other accessories should be first. Then if you think a feel of a pistol would be nice then go for it. Once again though really great guide.
@defroweairsoft Жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree 100%. If you are going to be playing cqb then a pistol is great. When I do cqb I use my pistol as a main and leave my rifle at home since our cqb is semi only and you get way more maneuverability with a pistol. If you have $1000 to drop on a main rifle, then the advice doesn't really apply to you. It's more meant for people with $400 or less and they need to decide if they want a $400 gun or a $250 gun and a $150 pistol.

Sorry to point this out, but there is a huge misconception with GBB rifles. GBB rifles are actually more reliable than AEG these days, providing you know how to use them correctly along with servicing and maintaining them, not to mention I've seen more AEG's fail than a single Gas Blowback at each game I've been to.
@defroweairsoft Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think the key with gas guns is correct maintenance. You basically need to maintain them the same as a real gun. For beginners, I don't recommend them because you can get a stock cyma or stock TM and run it for 20 years without any modification and they work fine. As soon as you start tinkering and upgrading them is when you start to experience some issues.

@@defroweairsoft Also to be fair I only started Airsoft about 2 months ago, my first game I hired an AEG, but just couldn't get on with it (it just didn't feel right to me), so I made the decision to go straight with GBB, but I am ex-military, so maintaining a GBB is no issue for me and it's familiar to me in how it all works.

When looking into guns what should I look for/out for? I've heard fps before in regards to the guns. For that, what should you typically go for? How much do the airsoft guns differ compared to their real life counterparts in functionality? I want to eventually get a sniper as I'm really good in shooters. But I do want to know because I want a sort of semi-automatic/automatic that is really accurate. Are the guns really ultimately only like "skins?"
@defroweairsoftАй бұрын
Yeah, they are basically skins. If you want a do it all gun, just get an m4 or ak. For fps, it's really just the spring that controls that. But if you get a stronger spring you'll need a stronger motor and gears. Internal upgrades are complicated so just get a preupgraded gun. Every airsoft shop will sell them. If you are on a budget, get AEG. If you want a realism, get a gas gun If you want to the best gun on the field, get a HPA gun like a wolverine. But they are also the most expensive

I wouldn't play airsoft there. Playing on your own land is fine, but if the public can see onto your land, eg they can see your backyard from the street, then playing airsoft is not recommended. Neighbors or passerbys could call the cops because of what they see, or due to the low fences you could accidentally shoot a passerby or damage someone's property. I know that everyone is doing a video in how to stsrt in aisoft, but i think youre not right. If u wanna start, do a research and find out what u wanna start with. Pistol is the best start, playable in all fields and u get a feeling with gas pistols which by side, u learn how to deal with gbb. Trust me spring amb electric pistols are not wprth it unless u know exaxly for what are u using it ( aka sniper ). Then buy a rifle. It comes again with gbb or electric. Look, everyone is getting gbb because of its feeling, but, but... if u wana be easy and cannot afford a gbb, of course pick an electric one, it will be fun too. Then think in radio, mask, pouches, chestrigs, granades and whatever u are willong for

Why do some airsoft guns have forward assist, the dust cover I understand (I also understand how it works on the regular “15’s” too). There is no video on KZbin about this!!
@defroweairsoft27 күн бұрын
On all the replicas I've seen the forward assist isn't functional. Just like in real life some ARs have forward assist and some don't, it depends on the model.

Buying second hand is fine in Japan. 90% of my stuff is second hand. Be careful buying custom stuff or junk stuff because you will probably need to rebuild them. @defroweairsoft Жыл бұрын
It depends if you want it. I have two marui glock 18cs. They are fun but not that useful. You usually can't use full auto indoors which is where you want to use pistols. You can usually only use them in full auto games and in those games you get outshot by rifles on full auto. So for a primary, I'd buy a rifle instead.

If you get shot with full auto you hear it because some rounds will hit soft spots. But if you only take one round and it hits a pouch or something, you usually don't notice it. If it hits your vest and makes a noise you can usually hear it, unless you are hyped up on adrenaline.

@defroweairsoft Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't bother upgrading double eagle to be honest. If you do want to upgrade it, put in a new motor to get a more responsive trigger or faster cycle rate. Or you can put in a new spring to get more fps. You can install an inner barrel to get more accuracy and tighter groupings.

Good question. First the gun and gear will always match. The only thing you need to consider is the magazine size. There are two basic sizes. M4 size and mp5 size. 1) decide on the gun 2) decide on uniform pattern 3) buy the uniform, pouches and helmet in the same pattern e.g. multicam. When you have finished making your first loadout, you'll start on your second. I'm making my 7th now lol 😆
