Thank you Flexiny and respect to your work. I showed this video to my dad who was a driver of these vehicles on Finnish state company TVL, TVH and last Tieliikelaitos. (road maintenance, changed name many times) company since 1977-2004. He was fired with hundreds other employees when company was pirvatized. So many of these were sworn employees and believed that their promised lifetime position remained. It was very hard time to my dad and the others of group who was fired in this transition. Equipment, even new was sold almost free price and only in foreign countries.

I don't know if you lifted the rear axle completely up but if you did, it doesn't have enough oil. It should rise like 20-30 cm from the ground. The lifter motor can overheat and break and it's probably hard to find a new one since the truck is kinda old already.

During it's existence Sisu has used diesel engines from a wide range of manufacturers including Valmet, Cummins, Rolls Royce and Caterpillar. They even offered the Caterpillar 18 litre engines during the early 2000's. I looked at this Sisu background from Estonian Transport Administration site, it is registered as car imported from Finland in 2005 (Original registration was 1995). Last technical inspection was 07.10.2015 with decision: roadworthy with insignificant errors. It does not have valid inspection any more because it was not presented to yearly inspection in 2016. It was snow plow, that you can tell from additional raised front lights and front mount plate.
@BFB822 жыл бұрын
@@piiluja Yes! Makes sense. I think that time it was Tielaitos (before TVL and TVH, nowadays Destia under Finnish Road Administration) who sold the trucks to Estonia because they were end of their service cycle. There is also on the right side of the truck some hydraulic lines and a metal plate on the frame. Those are for side plow. They were able to control the pressure and angle of the plow.

I'm guessing most of them are abandoned because they didn't pass mandatory yearly technical inspection, and needed fixes were too expensive (exceeds the market value of fixed car). The worst is rust in frame and other critical places. Over the years those problems have not disappeared and some new errors have been added. There are some companies selling such old cars to countries where tech inspections do not exist (basically Africa), but has Flexiny related with those that I don't know.
