Nathan- you are freaking awesome. You have this way of speaking that really brings some calm to the often turbulent journey that is OCD recovery. You really drive home the point that you can live in the uncertainty and give yourself the PERMISSION not to figure things out- you were the first person ever to make me realize that guilt does not equal truth, and urges to do compulsions do not equal a divine command to do so. Thank you so much, bless you.

Im sorry i missed the live stream but i had small question do you always have to have a compulsion as i havent had any compultions or any ive noticed recently is there some compulsions you might not even notice? And also what do you do when you have an intrusive throught as ive been told im not to reassure my self but i dont know what i am supposed to do

I second this!!! Sometimes I tell myself I don’t actually have ocd because I don’t perform compulsions every time

hello! i have this habit (?) and it's really bothering me. i've searched it up on google and it says "just right ocd" but i'm not really sure if it is! say for example, when i'm watching on youtube i just feel the need to like the video even if i don't want to and it's because i feel like something's not right if i don't press the like button. but that doesn't stop there because i press the button again and again and again until i get satisfied. because i feel like i pressed it the wrong way.
