The backhoe... it is part of your body and soul! The machine is just an extension of your hands! I enjoy watching you "get it done" ... I understand your need for all the lines ... tracks ... being straight .. I drove people nuts in my day ... but no regrets. I also envy your energy level ! Enjoying the videos!🚜

Love how you use your heavy equipment carefully, not cowboying it all over the place. Careful, efficient processes - very satisfying to watch. The music is well-done but sometimes a little heavy - maybe some slower, more melodic pieces? In all cases, however, the audio is very good - especially the action shots. Thanks for posting these!

Best would be to sort the stones by size and put boulders at the first layer and very small stones in the last one. This way they interlock but also let water through. And skip the fabric. If you're concerned about the wetness you can still put french drains on each side

I think I would have prepared the site a bit better. Clear all the trees within 8 foot of the edge of the road, and remove all clutter (vehicle hoods, logs and trailers), so that you have room to move. It also allows more light onto the road, and allows you to put a ditch, either on one side or both, for drainage. The road should be the highest spot, not made into a cutting. ( p.s. Well that's how the Romans did it..!)
@DieselCreek

Why do none of you KZbinr's buy a tandem dump truck. You could move material quicker. Great video's as always
@DieselCreek
@DieselCreek 4 жыл бұрын
I’ve thought about it, and may eventually but the problem is the cost to operate the truck itself isn’t much more than this one but insurance and plate fees in PA are out of sight, just the registration for the single axle is nearly $800 a year and this is just a side business for me so it sits a lot, doesn’t make sense to spend all that money on a tandem to sit there plus the smaller truck get in a lot of places big ones can’t and I do lots of small deliveries and the quarry is right by my house so it’s not a big deal to do a few loads. If I did this full time for myself I’d be saving to buy one lol thanks for watching!
