Injuries in a better place these days. Just taking it very slow adding 5kg to my lifts each week and seeing how far I can take it. Fairly low volume for the big lifts, a lot of focus on unilateral/core/rehab work. Adjusted my back squat technique to work around my back injury (wider stance, slightly less depth).
Training 4 days a week:
- day 1: "heavy" snatch and CJ, light front squats
- day 2: light cardio and accessories
- day 3: light power sn/CJ + heavy back squats
- day 4: heavy set of deadlifts + accessories
Will try and compete again this year with the aim to start competing in masters comps next year.
Numbers-wise, my PBs were set in 2018. Got back up to ~90% in November 2020 (90/110) before injuries got too bad to continue. So beating my 2020 numbers is the short term goal.
