There’s a beautiful, subtle flute melody that plays when La’An snaps back to reality that really evoked TOS. It’s just before the clip ends. I’m not sure which episodes it was used.

I love the chemistry between the characters . Star Trek strange new worlds is the best show of this year . The cinematography is oustanding . Anson Mount is very charismatic in the role 🖖🖖🖖 .

Strange new worlds is one of the best shows in a few year,s how they were able to get such great actors and great stories as well, somehow . and I loved Trek from the beginning, so...with me they had some Big shoes to fill .

Depends on the star. Different size/temperature stars have different "safe" zones. Think of the heat coming off a candle vs a bonfire.

She was disappointed because she wasn't able to go on the away mission, which she never gets to do. It makes sense that she'd be frustrated. Also, Spock isn't the first officer. Una (Number One) is.
