Dosto, Shark Tank India ka Season 3 shuru ho chuka hai. Kuch 2-3 episodes mein hi logon ko Zomato ke founder aur CEO Deepinder Goyal mein Ashneer Grover ki vibes aane lagi hai. Wahi grill karne ka andaz, wahi sawaal puchne ka silsila jisse logon ko Ashneer ki yaad aa gai. Kaiyon ne unhe ‘Ashneer Grover Lite version’ aur ‘soft Ashneer Grover’ naam dena shuru kiya.

The fact of the matter is, Ashneer always showed mirror to Entrepreneurs and was direct on face if he felt the product had no scope whereas other Sharks went by respecting the emotions of the Entrepreneur which is also correct, but for business it is not right. Deepinder brought that Ashneer factor back and it resonated right away with the people who missed that in season 2.

My favourite shark in S1 was Ashneer and I missed him a lot in S2. However, Deepinder is different. He has that aura that we liked in Ashneer. He's blunt. So you should really watch the episodes in which he's in before saying stuff. Being a blind Ashneer fan is equally as bad as hating Ashneer because he's straightforward. I hope you realise that.

how are these two comparable? Ashneer is just a right personality suited for any reality show like bigg boss lockup etc. i dont remember ashneer displaying such eye for detail or even giving a business advice to help the entrepreneurs even if he doesnt choose to invest. What he did in the name of honesty is just be blatantly rude and often project his personal prejudices on the entrepreneurs. like he told the designer that her designs are "waahiyaad" but his own wife buys those designs and wears them. Rude, obnoxious and still nothing compared to how he is in real life (ref:the icici bank audio tape were he literally threatens to get a guy murdered because he didnt sanction him a loan for investment).
