I'm not sure why you couldn't - but that's different enough from the typical usage that I would suggest consulting an attorney who is familiar with regulation crowdfunding

It would have to be a registered managed investment scheme. You (the issuer) would need a dealer's licence as you are talking about a 'pooled' fund.

As far as I am aware, that's fine - it's the location of the C-corp that's important. But I suggest you check with an attorney to be sure!
