In the past year I only bought 2 diamond paintings because you had inspired me with your stash detox. I am still in the detox phase as I had over 150 paintings in my stash to do. I only have 2 paintings at a time going as I do other crafts too (papercrafting). I'm down to 142 paintings left to do. I have so many craft supplies that hubby built me a large 12x32ft 2 story barn style shed that is completely livable (insulated, temp control, electric, etc) if it wasn't packed with crafting stuff. I have been on a detox of all my crafting and only using what I have in the past 2 years. I am a content creator, but not on KZbin, I have been having my viewers choose the diamond paintings I work on as I finish one. I see your logbook helping me to better keep track of my paintings and when I complete them. I'm hoping not to buy any but if I find a unicorn I will, hence I bought 2 in the past year.

So kind of you to share the files! I succumbed and purchased my first "new releases" of the year. That brings my yearly total to 4, but compared to last year, that is truly something! I managed to resist some restocks, but also hit with the hard truth that several that were on my wishlist have now been archived. But my stash is still 5 years out, so, well, I suppose I'll have to live with that.

Hi Lisette. Thank you for one more Video and for making all af this available to us. I will definitely go and fill in the form next. My plan is to kind of follow along but just ‘buying’ from my stash (60s in total still - i am a slow painter) till it is at 0 and then establish the reasonable stash-count for myself and going from there. I got my final diamond painting that I've been waiting to come back in stock on DAC, 'The first dragon' 🐉 It's beautiful and I'm so pleased I got it, but this means no more purchases, and it's time to start my destash journey. I'm looking forward to seeing them go down in numbers, it's very overwhelming when I see them all together, so I'm hoping for peace of mind.... and cupboard space 😂

Hi! This is nice of you to share! I'm having struggles with destash groups lately! I keep seeing ones at really great prices, and it's hard to not give in! I think I need to just stop looking at them until I get my stash back down...

Further insight, I realize my other problem with destash groups, is I find kits that weren't even on my radar sometimes. Ones that have been discontinued and I didn't even know existed, but then I want to try them 😬

I filled the google form just to help you know the people who follow this series, even if I make my own adapted version of it. I have a stash of around 60, excluding WIPs, and I’m using the 24 list as a priority list for the pieces I wanna do next. Once a wip is finished, I go to my stash list and select another one to my 24. Trying very hard to not let the stash (my private shop 😂) go over the 60 count! Ideally it should come down a bit, but I’m not putting pressure on myself to achieve that. Currently I can afford to buy some premium DPs; once my current job contract ends I don’t know what the future will bring, so I figure it will be good to have a collection to keep my passion-hobby alive. I enjoy your videos! Thanks for sharing. 😊

Hi Lisette! Thanks for sharing another lovely video. I filled out the Google form not so much for the forms, but to participate in the survey. I love statistics, and I don’t subscribe to many KZbinrs, but I do look at others when there are stash videos. I am beginning to feel that my stash is problematic (at 109), not so much financially, but in space in my basement and time. I realize that stash count is very relative and that many people feel a smaller number is a problem, and some feel that a larger number is not a concern. It’s a great community, and it’s fun to hear how others are doing, and sharing information in a very non-judgmental way. ❤ from 🇨🇦

Hi Lisette 👋. I’ve filled out the Google Form more as a follow along and wow I didn’t realise I bought EXACTLY 24 paintings in the last 12 months 😂. I have a question, you mentioned that once you’ve completed a painting, it would be remove from you stash count so how do you intent to remove the line from your “stash jar” form? I remember the 24 stash is more of a rolling count and not fixed for the whole year?

Hi - I Hope you’ve received your worksheets? I havé had Some return to me - failed to send. Once thé jar is filled in you can’t erase a row/color. It is a reminder that your stash is set for the year. This doesn’t mean you can’t buy anymore - because you’re right. It’s a rolling 24. So once You’ve finished a couple of Diamond paintings - you can substract them from thé 24 and buy again until you get to 24. It doesn’t change anything about the stash jar. Once that is full and filled in it stays like that until thé end of 2024. Keep it as the first sheet of your stash logbook as a reminder that you have enough Diamond paintings.

Hi Lisette. Can you explain the stash jar? You color in the line when you add to the stash, but what happens when you have a finish? You can’t “un-color” the line.

Great video. I'm sorry if you have answered this already but once you reach 24 does that mean you stop buying until all 24 are done or are you doing a rolling 24. Meaning you completed one you can buy another to always jave a stash of 24. Again sorry if you already answered this.

Hi Angela - thanks for asking. 24 is my baseline. So if I finish à couple of Diamond paintings I can buy again to get back to 24 if I want. I don’t need to get back to zero - I just can’t go above 24 (24 = stash&wips). That way I Hope to keep myself in Check.
