i am quite familiar with being in an underdog city. i am a milwaukee native. we have made a bit of a comeback, but are usually overshadowed by chicago or the twin cities. i lived in santa cruz for a few yrs. in the 80's. fresno was over there somewhere.. good luck you guys. i wish you the best.
