First time watching and subscribed. Love the variety of your collection and some grails of mine are there! Got into the hobby around 3 years ago and went deep fast. 220 watches later and I'm in the process of selling 100 to finance just a few new ones. Wow over 200! Hands-on is the best way to learn what you like and don't like. I have become a lot more willing to let go of watches now especially if it enables me to move into a new piece. Glad you enjoyed the video; good luck with your collecting!

Thank you, very kind of you to say. There's so much interesting diversity in watches, at all price points, that there's a lot to experience. I'm trying to avoid the issue of having more watches than I will reasonably wear so I've started to be more willing to get rid of watches to bring in different ones.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was unsure if people liked the wrist shots when I'm not listing all the specifics (e.g., diameter and lug-to-lug) or if it's still helpful. So, it's good to hear feedback on that.

Great point on the PRX automatic being too homagey, i like the new ice blue PRX but probably holding off.

I'm pretty sensitive to Royal Oak design cues in other watches. Later today I'll have a video drop about the new Aston Martin GP Laureato, and I just can't get past the RO style bezel on those watches.

@@WatcheswithDennis agree, its also the GP dial that makes it have too much resemblance to the RO. Ill have a rant on AP in general ill save for tomorrows show.

Thanks. Interesting that both your picks are watches some people fine overly thick. Not past my limit (I had a Hamilton that was way too thick for me) but probably the main complaint I hear on both these models.

@@WatcheswithDennis It may be about 1mm too thick for what most people would think a luxury watch should be but the way they do the case back it rides right between the radius and ulna and does not look or feel thick on the wrist. Plus you have the dial and the spring drive movement. I sold an aquaterra to fund mine and the GS is a much better watch and I have no complaints.

@Watches with Dennis Good luck with the trade! The Pano was a watch on my list ever since it was launched...well over 10 years. For some reason it didn't take priority. I ended up getting the OG GO pearly white dial over a Santos. It was a great call on my part! The blue and green dials are also are also amazing. The rose opaline (aka salmon) is just stunning. Regardless of which you end up getting, well...I can say I heard angels sing when I opened mine up. I couldn't be happier! Look forward to seeing yours.

@@markedfortime I like the look of the green but I am angling for the older blue model (think they were 38mm then) before the current gen. I actually own zero blue watches right now and this was on a bracelet and it caught my eye.

The Zodiac did finally sell. I'm not quite sure what is next. I got close to pulling the trigger on a Zenith Chronomaster Original so that may be most likely. I've also been looking at a few of the Breitling Navitimers (the ones *without* the chronograph). I've also considered seeing about putting my name at an AD for a Rolex no-date Submariner but I think I'd feel compelled to let go of another dive watch if I did that. In terms of grail, that would probably be the Lange 1. Not sure I'm ready to cross the bridge where a single watch costs more than a small car though.

A well thought out plan on the outgoing watches, especially the Ming and 114200. I would love to get a 16570 to complement my GMT C. Other than that, Rolex lost me in general.

The only Rolex I seem to hold any interest in anymore is a no-date Sub, but that's such a popular option and I don't really like even the retail price-point on the watch that I'm not sure I'll ever bother with it. Maybe if they finally go for less used than new. At almost $9,000 retail there's a lot of other possible watches on the table that I find more interesting and less likely to see others wearing (which I think is a lot of the fun, not just all having the same few pieces).

Forgive me Father! I've got it on a silicone strap now, though you might oppose all straps. I wore it on the bracelet for over a decade so I'm mixing things up a bit, though now that the weather is cold I've thought about going back to the bracelet.
