Everyone throw this man a thumbs up on the video. I have watched this channel grow form less than 500 subs to 45k and the content keeps getting better and the videos drop several times a week normally. I take a lot of editing to make these videos so the least we can do is hit that like button.

If you just put the stomach contents of a fish into a bit of water, it all separates and you can see the individual bugs in there. That Grayling was huge! Haven't caught one yet though.

That Tasmanian devil will become your new favorite luer. Super slow retrieve. I've caught more fish on those in the past few years than anything else in my tackel.
@joshuafringer23203 ай бұрын
I think the bug you found on your tent was either a white spotted sawyer beetle or a pine sawyer beetle. Hope that helps

The lure you found is called a gotcha plug, they are used heavily in the Atlantic and gulf coast saltwater fisheries. So definitely a weird place to find one in the mountains 😂

That lure is one of my favorite for pier fishing saltwater. Great foe mackerel, tuna, any fast predatory fish. I bet it would work for musky and pike. Good find.

That lure you found looked older, maybe someone got snagged on that log years ago when the lake was full, that would be so cool

Nice spot to camp and fish. You do have some very cool places where you live to fish. I could spend a lot of time up there fishing and camping. Your one lucky dude for sure. Here in Ontario we have to wear helmets on off road ATV's or we get fined.

Slobs. The DWR doesn't want those grayling in there, but it looks as though they've established themselves. I saw one caught there about 7 years ago.

Awesome video man! Great fishing! That greyling could have been a record for sure. But I do have to disagree with you. The Mountain dew freedom fusion is by far the best of the 3 summer flavors! And even better than most of the permanent flavors! But at least you're a mountain dew man so i guess you're still cool.😅

there's nothing worse than getting to campsite and having to clean up after the disrespectful slobs that leave all their trash behind and for some reason they seem to think it's OK to throw all their cigarette butt's on the ground. awsom fish by the way bud and your a better man for cleaning up others trash.👍

longhorn beetle of some kind, they feast below the bark, if you see a black one with long horns and white spots, could be the asian longhorn and you should report it to the forrest management.

Yeah man this video was fire! Congrats on your PB arctic grayling. I'm guessing it was close to 17 inches. How long was it, or what's your estimate? Also, do they spawn in inland lakes or do you think those fish were planted?
@bassntroutfishing3 ай бұрын
I believe those cutts do spawn, but some are planted every year. And it’s a mystery how the grayling got in there.. it was definitely at least 17, and some people have guessed longer, so it would’ve beat the C&R record
@jasonborn8673 ай бұрын
@@bassntroutfishing Right on the grayling was huge! My theory is the arctic grayling were accidentally mixed in with trout fingerlings, and the grayling continued spawning on their own. There had to be more than one grayling to initially establish a viable population.

Pretty sure the bug on your tent was a pine beetle, one of the worst animals on earth. They eat trees from the inside out and kill them pretty sure their invasive, the lakes ive been going to since i was a baby are surrounded by dead trees because of those stupid things
