@@manmaas Hi, no surprises, it will always be Tangerine Dream, esp in their 70s line up of Froese, Bauman, Franke, given the equipment available back then to those guys, the sounds and rhythms they produced was amazing, and even today difficult to emulate.
@robstammers71494 жыл бұрын
@@rickl242 Tangerine Dream of course, not every one's choice, klauze Schultz being a close joint 1st. State Azure given his huge range of modern synths and racks, for me is a close second. An artist called Madis is currently running 3rd, give his track Desert Rose a listen.

Did you record the bitbox samples yourself or do they have a different origin? Sounds great! Very weird - this is almost exactly my setup, including the guitar in the corner and the modular case stand.
@stateazure4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The drum samples are from lots of different sources and sample packs. Everything else was recorded/improvised in the DAW before rendering out samples and loops for live arrangement.

For it's size I think it's a pretty amazing module considering everything it can do. I don't use it so often as I have other sequencers that do a lot of what it does, but better..I use it more as a kind of utility module if I need good MIDI to CV conversion, or CV recorder etc. In a small case like I've put it in now it's much more important though.

Great music, but drums are misplaced and disturb the rest! You should have minimised the drums! Then it would be just wonderful!
@stateazure4 жыл бұрын
it's tricky to do how I wanted, to minimise the drums at the exact point I needed the chorus to begin made for a very abrupt change, but I agree it needed thinning out during those parts. Done in a DAW this would be a piece of cake, but nobody wants to look at a DAW screen for 18 minutes! Maybe I could have thought it through better, but this is another track done in a single take with no practice. It's how I roll.
