Thanks Hajia.please how can a person comes up with a research topic for direct PhD program, without having masters before.

This would be for USA, UK requires a masters before getting PhD. The research topic does not matter if you have masters or not, it is the same research topic you need. I mean you think of a good topic, something that is new and different and that is going to address a problem in your field. Then you can submit once, make sure it is evidenced based and have someone review before submitting
